These aren't necessarily in order:

1. Casino Royale. Best Bond film since On Her Majesty's Secret Service.

2. The Lord of the Rings Trilogy (I can't pick one). Even if you don't like the story, it's the biggest achievement in filmmaking ever

3. The Bourne Supremacy. I don't care what people say, I thought this one was 10 times better than Bourne Identity. It's amazing what you can do when you have a real director.

The Machinist, I almost forgot about that movie. An almost unrecognizable Christian Bale(Batman) was excellent in that movie. Gotta love Ivan..hehe. Micheal Ironside AKA Sam Fisher was good in his minor role as well.

I had so much troubling followig Munich that I couldn't stand it.

It doesn't do a good job when you compare it to the book. Both myself and my brother read the book. He watched the movie and was disappointed in a lot of ways. I tried watching the movie with my wife who hadn't read the book but she was a bit confused early on. I kept pausing the movie to explain certain characters or gaps in the story since they had to chop a lot out. Eventually I just got annoyed at how much was missing from the movie that I just shut it off and never finished it. I don't know if I got past a 1/2 hour of watching it. Vengeance is the book and its much better. The movie also takes liberites in how they portray the characters and the story.
