An extremely powerful movie. Outstanding performances by DiCaprio and Hounsou. Not surprisingly both were nominated for an Oscar. Their was a nice mix of drama and action. It was heartbreaking watching the innocent children turned into ruthless killers. The final 15 minutes of the movie surprised me in a good way.

The soundtrack from James Newton Howard greatly enhanced the film. I wanted to purchase one of the tracks but the album isn’t on iTunes.

The one complaint I have is that the film could have been shorter. I would have chopped off 10 minutes to make the film feel tighter.

Grade: B+

Watched it last night. Great movie. Still liked Hotel Rwandda more, but not by much.

Im pretty sure the soundtrack is aviable on itunes. Ive heard the DVD transfer isn't very good. What do u guys think? ANyone know when it will come to HDDVD/Bluray?

According to a few over at avs, it has been pushed back to sometime in May, but havent heard a firm date in May.

i watched this for the first time last night and thought it was pretty good..
