EDIT:

New Jersey drivers that venture into Massachusetts really aren't that bad for the most part, but I have noticed they drive very inconsistently at times in terms of speed. Sometimes it is just balls to the wall 100 mph+, other times they pass you, then a mile later you pass them, this will go on for a while.

I drive like that to avoid speeding at overpasses, and cops. In Jersey, where fines are doubled, I'd imagine it's also a pretty common practice.

Watching this video, it didn't surprise me at all that something like this would happen in the Northwest. Having lived in Western Washington for 5 years, I learned a few things about the drivers in the Northwest. They don't know how to drive in snow or icy conditions. They think they can drive the speed limit in the conditions and things like this happen. And with how bad traffic is in Seattle and Portland, any accidents slow down traffic to a stop. Now imagine multiple accidents, and how much the traffic does not move. And also, the cities aren't prepared enough for such conditions. They might as well shut down the cities when conditions are like this.

Terrible drivers....conditions can't be that bad. At least in Nebraska drivers aren't that bad. You just have to drive slow and if you start to skid just turn your wheel in the direction your back end is going in to stop you from sliding. I drive a 97 Gran Prix and I've never had driving problems in snow and I drive in all sorts of weather. I actually love driving through a residential district after a fresh snow and drift through the corners like I'm in a rally car.

Yeah dude, i have a awd suburu, so every time i go out in the snow I do crazy drifts in a parking lot. People say i'm crazy but it actually helps me figure how to move my car in the snow.

Exactly when i first started to watch i was thinking "why are they accelarating in the snow" then i saw the car go sideways so the road had to be on a hill, these states that dont have alot of snow still need to invest in salt trucks and salt storage to avoid this type up situation.

Dont forget guys there are no salt trucks in places like that, Trust me if it snowed in Michigan and the salt trucks werent out we would drive just like that. Here in Mich the salt trucks are out before it snows.

salt or not, driving THAT fast and acclerating attempting to drive like its normal is beyond stupid.

do they not know what ice is and capable of?

its one thing to blame weather but to say its all the weathers fault isnt very logical.

i believe you can drive manageably in any condition
