Re: upgrading to vista
Its really not THAT bad. As for the annoying alerts and such. Thats mainly because of all the Beta drivers that were out there, now that most drivers are final builds I haven't noticed the alerts. Also make absolutely sure that you disable UAC(User Account Control) Its the most annoying and worthless feature I have ever witnessed. It will constantly ask you if you are sure you want to do something, and it serves no real purpose to the general PC user. So thats the first thing you got to do, and again just make sure you have the most up to date drivers and then everythings just fine.Comment

Re: upgrading to vista
Just a note that PC World this month discusses it and they say a brand new install performs 10% to 15% faster than an upgrade from XP. So if I were wanting to run it i'd go the fresh install route instead of upgrading XP.Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

Re: upgrading to vista
Been using different builds since March. Got the final one at work and home. It's okay. Than again I'm already pretty used to it.Comment
