I think she would have been great if she was making her initial push in the mid 90's rather than the late 90's.
Her music basically missed the bus and now is forced to change in some ways to adapt to the pop music of this era.
I have no problem admitting that I was a big popular music (and alternative music) fan in the mid 90's.
