I'm paying like $50! I did the test again, and this time I was at 2.58 Download and .41 Upload and a Ping of 53, but still, that's a lot slower than a lot of people in here. I'm gonna call them up.Comment

i work for a cable company and got all the crap for free when i lived in the town serviced by my company. Speeds were great.
Then i moved to the boonies, and my only options were hughesnet or the option i posted above from my town.
I think the isp that came up from the one i posted was "one communication"
these are the prices for my towns internet(the one i have)

Indeed, haha. I have friends in high places
Now it is phenomenal on the home network. But still online downloads are still dependent on the FTPs upload. But it is nice to get a constant 3.5-4mbit on Steam and 1.5-2mbit on PSN and Live.
Also in GT5 it says my connection is "exceptional" haha.
