Re: Anybody else hear on the news...
When I bought my ipod at target they opened it in the store to check if it was in there because they said people had been buying them, and then putting a bar of soap in the box and returning them.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

That's even better than the Xbox 360 idea. Imagine buying an iPod then coming home, opening it, and you find a bar of soap in the box instead.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment

They should check the harddrive on the Xbox. Maybe the guy has some saved game info. Xbox live could be tracked too, no?@MikeLowe47 | YouTube | Discord

I don't find this that cool or funny at all. Screwing over another customer so you can get a free 360. Weak.Comment

Re: Anybody else hear on the news...
I know this is OT, but Wal-Mart is turning into a place where they s*** on their good, loyal employees, making WM employees in general more dispensable, a la McDonalds......... it's cheaper for WM, but you get what you pay for........ and they are passing that attitude right on to the customer........
I honestly shudder to think how bad the Wal-Mart experience will be in 20 years when the older loyal decent employees now are retired. I've worked in Wal-Mart before and I can notice that the WM experience has deteriorated the past 3 years.Favorite Teams:

Re: Anybody else hear on the news...
You would think they would at least call a CSM on returns like these......... but I guess the employee who took the Xbox back didn't know that they didn't know what the new Xbox looks like.

Re: Anybody else hear on the news...
wouldn't they be able to see this was a returned item, and figure it out? I mean, I know walmart hires some dumb people, but I'd think it wouldn't take too long to figure out what happened. They'll probably never catch the guy that did it, but they would be able to help the poor guy out that got his crap."Good music transcends all physical limits, it's more then something you hear, it's something that you feel, when the author, experience, and passion is real" - Murs (And this is for)Comment

Re: Anybody else hear on the news...
LOL.........
You're right, it shouldn't be an "experience"........... it should simply be me getting what I came there for, paying for it, and leaving. I've just had some negative experiences with them lately.......
- having more cashiers available at 10 am than at 6 pm
- having less than 300 buggies available in all of Wal-Mart property (300 may sound like a lot but it's really not that many) so when it's busy (not even a holiday, just a run-of-the-mill Saturday afternoon) and the 300 are in use and you come in the store, no buggy for you!
- hiring like 4 cart crew people (for all shifts, not just at one time) which means mass buggies where there should be a parking spot
Maybe I go there in the wrong time of day or something.
Don't you hate it when some lousy person gets in the express lane with 50 items......... I know that's not WM's fault and the cashier's not supposed to turn them away, but those types of people are just annoying. I wish the cashier could tell them to get in the non-express lane.........Favorite Teams:

I was thinking like a horse-drawn carriage when I first read that. Is it a southern term for shopping cart?Comment
