The Black Donnellys' (premiers 2/26 on NBC)

For those of you who are interested in this show, Yahoo has the pilot episode available for viewing on their website. I was intrigued when I heard about the show, so I watched the pilot, and I think it's gonna be one of the few shows I make a habit of watching. For those of you who would rather wait to see it on TV, it premiers Monday at 10 PM and the pilot replays sometime Thursday night

even if it's the best show ever, I won't watch cause it's replacing the stellar Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip...

I love that show and now NBC pulls it till a further date!

I think it looks interesting, but with the premise and the way shows have been lately, I give it 2-3 weeks until it's pulled/canceled.

exactly, i'm not going to invest time in it when it will be cancelled anyways. and the ironic thing is a lot of people won't watch for the same reason and it will be cancelled as a self fulfilling prophecy basically.

Or it'll pull a Friday Night Lights and not be cancelled, and then no one will watch it anyways since they didn't watch the first 3-4 weeks.

4 Whiteboys and the show is called the "Black" Donnellys. The title alone might turn some viewers off to it lol. Show looks good from the previews though, I plan on checking it out.

I doubt that EG. I think its going to do better than Studio 60. NBC is advertising it like crazy and its works better with Heroes as a lead in than Studio 60. Nerds like us who love Heroes are more likely to watch a gangster show like BD than a romantic drama like Studio 60.

Also, I saw the pilot a few months ago and it looks like a great show.

NBC is promoting this show non-stop. I'll just wait for the DVD.

I love Lost by Mudmen though. They dropped the ball by not putting the song on iTunes.

Modern day...It mostly focuses on four brothers and how they took over their neigborhood. The main character is a Michael Corleone type who doesnt want to live that life but is constantly pulled in by his troublemaker brothers. I say give it a shot Monday night. I loved the pilot and I'll be watching from here on out. Also unless it tanks and gets worse ratings than Studio 60, all 8 episodes will air.

Which is pretty much unpossible. I just can't fathom how a show that cost the most to make per episode for all of TV can do so bad, when it's such a well written show, with such a great cast.

Well, it's about the "Black Irish", so that explains that, but I could see how it could be misleading if you don't know about the "Black Irish"

And the main writer was a writer for Crash, Casino Royale, Flags of Our Fathers, and Letters From Iwo Jima
