Dan Patrick
I really like this guy's radio show and he gets all the top name interviews, but he pisses me off sometimes. I just don't like his constant backhanded compliments. I know people will say, "dude, just change the station". If I did that, I would be forced to listen to Mike Murphy here in Chicago. That ain't happening.

Re: Dan Patrick
Patrick's show went downhill when they lost Dibble. Keith Olberman's segments help, but it's still not what it was when it was "Dan & Dibbs".Comment

Yeah, what happened to Dibbs anyways? I enjoyed the show much more w/ him on there as well, but missed out on why he left.Comment

Re: Dan Patrick
Not a big fan of DP, never really have been. He gets the big name interviews, but I think alot of that has to do w/ the ESPN banner behind him. Back when I gave him a shot several years ago, he was interviewing Coach K as the college basketball season was about to kick off...anyway DP got stood up by Jason Giambi I guess in the first hour, so 80% of the Coach K interview was DP trying to be cute asking Coach questions like..."If you were Giambi, where would you be coach?"..."Anyone you know that can help me get in touch with Giambi?"...I was pissed, what a waste of Coach K's time...since then Ive listened maybe 10 minutes in about 4 years...didnt even know Dibbs left.Comment

Re: Dan Patrick
Ha, Dan "Pause" Patrick gets on my nerves too much. I listen to his show maybe once a week, Mike & The Mad Dog usually get play on my radio in the afternoon although they're quite annoying most of the time too."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: Dan Patrick
a lil' off topic but i can't stand that clown Colin Cowherd...I am glad I got the Buell- I love riding it, I love the oddball looks I get on the road- I love people asking "What IS that thing?" I love flying into a corner WAY too hot, scared spitless and sure I'll never hold it at this speed- and hearing the bike whisper "Sissy!"...Comment

Re: Dan Patrick
Most of ESPN's radio programming sux, in my opinion. I haven't listened to Mike and Mike in ages. Colin Cowherd is tolerable at best... I'll listen to the first part of his show, and then to his "Spanning the Globe" bit, which is cool... If you listen for the first half hour or so, then turn back an hour later, you won't miss much; he tends to stay on the same topic.
Dan Patrick's show blows chunks... I remember a few years ago he tried to set up Isiah Thomas to say something controversial, I can't remember what the topic was... The only time I've found his show entertaining was when he would have Reggie Miller and Mark Jackson on, and just let them riff on different topics... I found myself wishing that ESPN would have the balls to can Patrick's show and replace him with Miller and Jackson.Comment
