Re: Name any 5 things you would change in the sports world
1. Have the government temporarily take over boxing(until a truly independent governing body can be established) and clean it up-one belt per weight class-mandatory scheduled fights between ranked fighters-uniform rules in all 50 states-Top fights on free T.V.
2. Reduce preseason NFL games down to two- with 18 regular season games and expand the active roster to 60 players.
3. Ban aluminum bats from college baseball, high school too(economically unrealistic, but since we're playing God-Emperor here)
4. Ban NBA players from playing for the United States Olympic/World Championship- basketball team-I don't care what other countries do, I want to see our college guys in there even if we never win the Gold again.
5. Get rid of the NBA All-Star Game, Pro Bowl, and NHL All-Star games, they are pointless and make a mockery of how those games are really played.-The MLB All-Star Game can stay since they actually really play a serious game.
Bonus change-Permanenty have only one week between the NFC/AFC title games and the Super Bowl-Two weeks blows.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Re: Name any 5 things you would change in the sports world
1. 8 team college playoff or at least the +1 idea
2. Salary Cap and Salary Minimum in Baseball.
3. Promotion/Relegation in MLS as well as getting rid of the playoffs
4. Minimum age in NBA draft 21 or after sophomore season (whichever comes sooner) I'd love to see Durant and Oden play at least one more year.
5. I'd like to see Landon Donovan get a sex change and become the girl he's always longed to be

1. NCAA College Football Playoff
2. No salary cap in baseball, but force teams to actually spend revenue sharing on players, and not lining the owners pockets.
3. Increase NBA age limit to 21... (makes both college and pro ball better)
4. Disband the sport of soccer

Re: Name any 5 things you would change in the sports world
1. Salary Cap for baseball
2. Call flopping/diving in NBA
3. Lottery Draft for football. I'm not so sure on this maybe if someone could explain it for me but you could always tank your seaon if you want to get that star player from college. Which for basketball any bad team can have a chance at first pick
4. Severe Penalty for fighting in the NHL. If any other sport throws one punch you get suspended, but in hockey you just geta penalty. I'm not a big fan of hockey so I really don't know the purpose of it, but i think its a bad example for kids and to me it doesn't make sense why its OK to do.

Re: Name any 5 things you would change in the sports world
I can't think of five at 3 AM, but I'd propose a promotion/relegation system for all the major American sports. Make playing in the top league a privelage, and not a right. For examples, take a look at any of the larger European soccer leagues.Enjoy football? Enjoy Goal Line Blitz!Comment

Re: Name any 5 things you would change in the sports world
Change the fact that the MLB All-Star game determineS HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE for the WORLD SERIES. Why the hell can't they just go by the best record between the two teams? Before this, they alternated between the AL and NL. It's just stupid.
Make the day after the Super Bowl a federal holiday.
Stop fighting in hockey. I think it's so horribly pointless.Comment
