I never drank it straight up but my roommate in college used to make a big tub of jungle juice and also soaked apples and strawberrys in it for the ladies. There is never a chill night with everclear involved. Either something gets broken, the cops come or all the ladies start taking off their clothes. So yes there are some great nights just depending who's involved.

After just two shots of Everclear? Wow.

We usually mix it with fruit and Kool-Aid. Turns out pretty damn good...

Then when all of the Everclear/Kool-Aid mix is gone... you can eat the fruit at the bottom of the bowl that's been soaking in alcohol.

Back when I was in school we made a variation on this called trashcan punch. In addition to the Everclear, punch and fruit, you threw in whatever other liquor you had to hand. Tasty and a really quick way to get totally smashed.

We also used to save some of the fruit for the next day because it was the finest hangover cure known to man.

I bought a bottle of Everclear on New Years of 2001 and we did'nt finish the bottle till New years of 2005. It had its own little spot in the freezer and never moved until New Years came up. I'm definitely afraid of it. How can you drink something that on the bottle says might cause death if druken striahgt. Beware of the skull on the bottle.

Anyway, one New Years, we get smashed off 2 shots along with various other drinks. I had to take public transportation with my guy to head home. My guy was so wasted, he threw up in his sleep and slept in it the rest of the ride home on the train. When we got off, he stripped off all his cloths till I was chest naked in the middle of a chicago winter, stood on top of a bench, smashed two beer cans together and downed them Stone Cold Steve Austin style wetting his entire body. Then on the walk home, I hopped on the back of a moving freight train(only about 10MPH....but that ish is fast) And fell off of it and rolled about 10 feet in a pile of rocks. I took a break to hurl and thats all I remember of that night. Dont know how I made it home.

I used to drink it. There's an entire Primus concert I paid good money to see...that I don't remember...thanks to Everclear mixed with Gatorade. I remember we bought one of those 32 ounce bottles of Gatorade, poured half the Gatorade out, and filled it with Everclear. I drank the whole thing before we went in for the show. Bad move.

That was when I was either 17 or 18 years old. I never really tried it in my adult years, mostly because I am afraid of it.

Well, it is one of the ingredients to the punch we made for our frat parties. You don't taste ANY alcohol. Don't eat the fruit though.

I remember we soaked some fruit in Everclear before my junior prom... and brough the fruit in with us in our pockets (in bags, of course). Since they were serving other fruit there, it didn't look too suspicious.

Back in the day, when I was stationed at Wichita Falls,TX me and about three buddies bought a bottle of Everclear and three large pizzas. I am a good sized guy (6'5/275), and needless to say I put away a whole pizza and a half by myself. We were getting ready to go clubbing, and I wanted to turn the bottle up so I wouldn't have to buy drinks at the club. I did, and they were like "Dude stop, dude stop now." I drank roughly 1/4 of the bottle and proceeded to the club. This girl that I liked started dancing with me, and I started to feel sick. I told her I needed to go, and she said she would walk me home (we lived in the same dorm). After climbing the three flights of stairs, I was feeling bad. I started running towards my room, but about half way down the hall I started to puke, and continued to puke for about 100 feet. I felt like a big jerk, but I went and passed out by the toilet in my room. The girl came to my room and kept a wet rag on my head and slept beside me to make sure I was o.k. The next morning as I was showering, she joined me and we began an awesome four month, sex filled relationship.

Not with Absinthe, but I had some pretty wicked nights in Japan with Sochu (a drink like vodka, usually mixed with fruity flavoring), and Sake.

It's Shochu. In Korea we drank Soju and man, I've had some pretty interesting nights with Soju involved.
