Hostel Part 2
Most know Hostel was one of my fav horror films. The sequel drops June 8th, and the final trailer has been released (it will also be in front of Grindhouse).

Re: Hostel Part 2
I think this is coming out Friday, I know i'll be heading to the theater to see it.
I liked Hostel, the effects were downright creepy/scary at times. I do kinda hope the plot is more than "softcore porn for an hour, then bad stuff happens", but Hostel was better than Turistas in that regard.
I just like seeing these movies in the dark theater with massive sound. Saw 3 was eerie with bones snapping that loud.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Hostel Part 2
Well, the commercials ask us to be ready for the most shocking ending in horror movie history. Though I doubt that it could top Saw (and I think that they're pushing it when they're telling us that there is a shocking ending), I'm rather interested in seeing it.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Hostel Part 2
I'm only referring to the ending, though. I don't know what can top Saw for me. Definitely not Saw IV, that's for sure. The thing about the first three is that I didn't pre-plan and draw out all possible conclusions. For Saw IV, unless they introduce something completely new for its ending, I've drawn out every single possibility for an ending, so now nothing can be a shocker (don't think I'm seeing it anyway).
As for Hostel: Part II, if they really DO have that type of ending that should shock the horror movie audiences, then it intrigues me to see it even more. I just hope that they pace this movie much better than the first one, considering the main characters are female this time around.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

I told my mom I was gonna go see this and she was like "Ewwwwww" lol. Some people just don't quite click with horror, but if you "get it" it can be a great experience.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Hostel Part 2
Wasn't a fan at all of Hostel.
But, after reading Roth's plans for Hostel 2 I'm interested in watching it. I don't believe, however, that I'll be a big fan of it.
It still seems like an attempt at horror with softcore elements."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace
