Its supposed to be whatever your ultimate fantasy is. Thats why everyone who looks at it is completely mesmorized. I have the screenplay that they sold in stores when the movie first came out locked up in storage somewhere but I remember reading that.

Well that link is down. What all else was on the list besides the scene from American History X? I think the last movie I saw where I had that reaction was in Revenge of the Sith with the way Mace Windu died.MLB: Cincinnati Reds
NFL: Cincinnati Bengals
NCAA Hoops: Xavier Musketeers
NCAA Football: Miami Hurricanes
NHL: Calgary Flames

I didn't say greatest of all time, I said of the most shocking of all time.
By the way, the most shocking ending was, bar-none, in Titanic (when the ship sank).Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: 10 "oh sheet!" movie moments
I didn't catch the website before it went down, but that curb stomp in American History X was crazy and definitely the ending of the 1st SAW. My jaw dropped on that one, then I went crazy about how hot the movie was.
And the ending of Seven was pretty wild as well.
What were the rest of them? Can anyone remember?Comment

Still not even close, a bunch of other more shocking endings in movie history. Nothing against Saw, as I know you love them to death and defend them left and right, but the first ending was really good, but not even top 5 shocking endings in a movie for me.Comment

Word. It's working now. I love that ending from SE7EN. Morgan Freedom was just tremendous.Originally posted by EWRMETSMaybe the best post in OS's history. If you don't think Tony Romo is a Hall of Famer, you support al Qaeda.Comment

Re: 10 "oh sheet!" movie moments
Se7en, no question one of the best shocking endings. Others off the top of my head, original Planet of the Apes, Psycho, The Sixth Sense, The Usual Suspects, Fight Club, Identity, The Wicker Man (original), Reservoir Dogs, Memento, The Others, etc.
Saw is up there, just not the best IMO. After going through movies in my head, I'd actually put it higher than I originally said. But #1 I'd give it to Planet of the Apes, just because that ending made me sit there completely bewildered. If not PotA, then Se7en for sure.Comment
