      Yep it's still a criminal offense. You can't just pull something like that and not expect to get the book thrown at you.

      That's just messed up and if I were the woman i'd sue everyone involved in this even Craigslist as I can't believe an ad that basically asks people to take everything from someone's house can pass through without some major screening.

        Is the actual ad posted somewhere? I'd be interested to see if the ad was believable enough for a normal person to be convinced they could go take stuff, or if it just gave shady people an excuse to rob the place, but a normal person would read it and say "hmmmm, that doesn't seem right".

          I wonder what you can do about this craigslist things gone wrong. One of my friends had someone place a craigslist ad in the "erotic encounters thingy" and is giving out her phone number and all. (yes its a baby mama drama situation) *shakes head*
