Let me see if I got this straight.
Let's suppose that one of Cam'rod's many illegitimate children were to be held up at gunpoint or perhaps worse.
And Cam'rod is the only witness and thus has to identify the perpetrator in a police line-up.
He would keep it so real as to disrespect his own blood by not seeking justice.

He's not referring to not saying anything about killers who aren't affiliated with you but not telling the police about your partners when you participate in the illegal activity with them.
