Speaking of thundercats, I remember thinking how cool our cartoons were growing up and how lame cartoons now a days are until I caught a old episode of thundercats on cartoon network. Man thats some of the cheesiest, ******** stuff ever. I now know cartoons were just as bad back then but we just didnt realize it.

Ehh.. that's up for debate. Not to mention that Cheetera was just BANGING.

I'd agree to a certain extent. It seems as an adult, the predictability of these shows spoil the overall opinion of them.

With Voltron, we always knew it was a matter of the final fight and Voltron forming the blazing sword and destroying its enemy. But, I was glued to the TV to watch it all unfold. If I watched those episodes now, they'd probably wouldn't be as entertaining as they were when I was 11.

However, there's a reason why we are seeing so many remakes in theaters. It's not just nostalgia. There is a creative drought that runs across the entertainment board.

I still like Voltron. No it's not the same as when I was a kid, but I still see why I liked it so much. Always watch it at 6am on Cartoon Network if I am up. I still like Thundercats too.

We talked about this last year, yes it was a great show, but I will take Battle of the Planets, or even better Gatchaman.

It used to be on Cartoon Network or Boomerang.

Anyone know if G.I. Joe (the real one, not that f'd up Sigma 6 crap) is still on somewhere? I know it too used to be on Cartoon Network, but I haven't seen it in years.

I remember a little while ago, it was on Cartoon Network at like 3 or 4 AM. But I haven't seen it since.

I have the GI Joe DVD's that were released before the rights were bought by Sony and they pulled them off the store shelves. In fact, I watched some of them about a month ago.
