Paris Hilton's sentenced is reduced
So now she only gets 23 days for good behavior before going to jail. I wonder if I could use this if i violate probation twice.

Her sentence was shortened after jail officials gave her credit for good behavior, Whitmore said. Officials considered several factors in calculating the credit, including that she appeared for her latest court date, he said.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Tags: None -
Re: Paris Hilton's sentenced is reduced
You mean the court date she showed up late for? I guess the Hiltons offered to buy the sheriff's department some new patrol cars or something.
California is the only state I've ever seen where you can violate your probation twice and get your jail sentence reduced in half.
Somebody in the thread that got locked had a good idea about the Roman Colosseum. I wish we had one. You get someone who is annoying like Paris Hilton and throw them in there. Give them 10 minutes to tell us why we should spare them, and then even if the crowd votes to spare her, release the lions on her anyway.Last edited by Dipstick; 05-17-2007, 01:17 PM. -

Re: Paris Hilton's sentenced is reduced
Lol. I really want to know if there's something that someone can do in California to get their sentence reduced if they get in the same kind of trouble. Could someone sue the state for preferential treatment? I know it's probably not possible but I can't believe that they would be so blatant with letting one person get off for doing nothing.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Sadly, this is exactly what's wrong with the youth of America. No accountability whatsoever. They screw up and take no responsibility for what they did, because they know their parents are gonna uphold them in what they're doing.Comment

isn't that what parents are supposed to do? parents sticking up for their kids and helping them out of any situation?Comment

Not when you know they're wrong. I know when I was younger and I screwed up,my old man wasn't upholding me in anything.Comment

Re: Paris Hilton's sentenced is reduced
If I was caught violating probation twice and getting caught doing something that could get me or others killed, my parents would not just let me get out of going to jail. And it's not like they were just sticking up for her, her mother was acting as if it was an injustice for her to be held accountable for what she did.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Have you ever heard of anyone getting their sentence reduced for good behavior before even going to jail?Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.

Re: Paris Hilton's sentenced is reduced
It's one thing to be caught driving under the influence once and getting a good probation deal, it's another to get caught doing it again, blaming it on your publicist, and then whining about how going to jail is unfair. I don't know too many parents who would be proud of their kid for that kind of behavior.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Personally no I have not. Of the judges I know I think I can safely speak for them when I say they would be sickened by this kind of treatment for the affluent. Does anyone know if judges in California are appointed or elected?Comment
