If you have the MLB at Bat 2009 for the Touch you have to upgrade to 3.0 to get the live game video....

What was the reasoning for charging 10 bucks for the update for ipod touch users? Is it because it's like a service pack of sorts?

I'd go early. They are opening one hour early (7am) just for pre-order pickups. I would be afraid they would sell it if I waited!!

I have a couple questions I need answered:

How's the quality of youtube videos on both either the youtube app or youtube mobile site on the 1st gen and 3G iphone? (I'm probably gonna have to ask this question again next week sometime or so since I really need it answered for the 3G S)

I heard from somebody that the quality was bad, alotta pixelations and etc. but from some youtube videos (on the site), they were watching some videos straight from the youtube app on the iphone, it looked nice, but I need some opinions from some ppl here on how their's were. This won't be a dealbreaker cause I rather watch youtube vids on the comp anyway, but it would be nice if you're away and can't access a comp and can watch videos nicely on here

Another question is: have any of y'all had any bad experiences with ya iphones? (Dropped calls, iphone just messed up and couldn't be replaced, etc.)

The main thing that kinda makes me hesitant from getting an iphone is the no insurance so if it breaks or whatever it won't be replaced, and gotta spend another full price for the phone, I know about the apple protection plan, but ya know accidents are bound to happen, and i think its wack really how they don't have a replacement plan if its accidental damage or anything ya know, besides the warranty which is only 1 yr

Thanks to all who can answer this for me, I'm HOPING to have a Iphone 3G S this year

So my question is, what differentiates the pre-order stock from the walk-in stock?

Pre-ORder guarantess you get yours, ATT shipped your phone to the store. Walk ins are first come first server and who knows how many extra they will have.

Well I just walked out with a 16GB black no problem.

Only issue was they have to call to port my number, and they have to wait until 9am at least.

Guy gave me temp number for now. If he can't port my number I don't know if I really want to keep the temp one...

Guess he let me walk out of the store with it so I'd fall in love and not want to return it right?

They certainly will be able to port your old number. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. They want you as a customer.
