My little brother told me about stopping running apps. This wasn't obvious to me, maybe you guys already know this. Tap the home button twice real quick to bring up apps running in the background, they'll be on the bottom. Press on an icon and hold until they start shaking. You'll see the red X out on the apps, just close em out and that stops apps from running in the background.

I downloaded a theme from cydia last night called EPHD, it's very nice and clean with new icons and sounds. If anyone is looking for a good looking theme for the 4 i suggest this one.

Ironic that you would post this because I went on this site I bookmarked months ago and it said the same thing. There were a bunch of good things on there that really informed me about running my phone better. Pretty solid.

On another note, I'm still holding out hope. I am really hoping that you guys are wrong but it seems like the consensus around the net is that we won't get an upgrade until fall. Fingers are still crossed. I want the iPhone 4 but I don't want to pay an arm and leg to upgrade to the 5 when it's due. I'm slightly jealous of my wife's phone though she cracked the back a little already. The double glass thing is making me feel a lot more at ease about waiting.

is there a way to create a text tone for your text messages? I know how to create custom ring tones, but I wanted something for my text messages

(and this would be for a non-jailbreak phone)

So you mean a non iPhone text sound? I'm not sure you can do that.

in Itunes, if you have something in your download section and you delete it, but everytime it keeps coming up again, is there a way to get rid of it permanently?

Like what? If it's a podcast, you have to delete the link in the podcast section showing that you could "get it" so it won't show up when you update.

I don't know a way unless it's jail broken.

I wish there was and I don't understand why there isn't.

Has anyone gotten the new WatchESPN app yet?

I'm very interesting to see the quality on it. I'm ready for Comcast to get on this!

Yeah, it's a great idea for an app, but the limited companies that you have to have to use it kind of sucks.

Hopefully other carriers are updated with it. If I can use ESPN360, then this should work on my phone as well.

Seems like another game using the unreal engine is coming to iphone. 9to5mac have the info & trailer.
