Why do I get package download failed most of time when downloading themes and apps?

I must have done something wrong. I can't get themes to work. I have SMBPrefs installed but doesn't change when I switch themes. any ideas?

Is wallpaper, status bar, icons and dock turned "ON" when you go to SMB preferences ? I get the download error sometimes. Most seem to be when I am not on wifi.

Simple sky won't install for some strange reason.

Look for Customize 2.0 Beta on the installer. If you don't see it, just follow the directions in this video to add the source for it: http://youtube.com/watch?v=pn3NHNWUy5c


You can do themes on customize just like Summerboard. Also can change all the icons like your carrier image to something else. change your wifi image. Like right now my main screen has "Tap To Unlock" on it. I just touch it to unlock the phone. The replaced the "Slide to Unlock".

I am having quite a few problems...

I think it all has to do with the wi-fi. I keep getting package download failure on almost everything.

I am pretty sure it has something to do with your wifi. Not a strong enough signal maybe.

nice. post back if you dont understand customize. It can be a little over whelming at first so just mess around with it. You can create your own custom theme too by combining different themes. You can install just the icons of one theme and just the background of another. Or change any of your one at a time. Say you install one theme but hate the Youtube icon. You can change just that icon if you like.

It says I need to upgrade my firmware? I don't know anymore...

what is your firmware? I have 1.1.4 If you have an earlier one just click on installer and look for "Customize". There should be one there for your firmware if you are not running 1.1.4 I think it's in the utilities folder.

Got it downloaded but it quits on opening screen. I have 1.1.4 (4A102) don't know what that means.

Seems weird.

just ordered some Skullcandy ear buds that fit the iphone jack. They have a inline mic so you can answer and end calls without touching the phone. Just press the small button on the mic to answer / end calls.
