haha, so true, the truth is the movies aren't exactly the shining examples of the pinnacle of acting and storytelling!! great point man.

The difference for me is that during T2 I never once stopped to think about how poor the acting was. I was sucked in the whole time.

But with this show, I'm constantly reminded of the poor dialogue and even poorer delivery of the dialogue.

Maybe I didn't notice it in T2 because I was younger. But during the first show, I couldn't help but notice how horrible the acting was.

Heroes is kind of like that too. Most of the actors on that show are terrible. But I like the story and action in that show a lot better than this show so I'm willing to dismiss it.

Maybe if SCC:T gets more interesting plots rather than the rinse-repeat formula AuburnAlumni pointed out, I could start looking past the bad acting as well.

I like it, but we need more to watch in an episode then this...

1. Sarah, Friendly Terminator, John walk into new town. Think they're safe.

2. Bad Terminators show up.

3. Shooting ensues.

4. Sarah and Co. escape, go to new house, town, etc.

5. Bad Terminators show up.

6. Shooting ensues. Rinse and repeat.

You nailed it, I like it as well.

Two episodes in and I am hooked, I will be watching.

Yet another great episode and I think that Episode 1 topped the Pilot. I guess I'm intrigued by the time travel, the story, and deep character development. What I also like is that Prison Break comes on first than leads into TSCC. It's a different direction for the franchise, but one thing that had me laughing a bit was the ending with the Terminator walking around as if he is Darkman with the getup he had on. LOL!

Biggest reason why 24 is the best show on TV. Great acting (except for exceptions like Josh Bauer) and excellent casting.

The pilot was cheese, the first episode decent. The second episode legitimately got me eager to see more and tonight's episode was a nice "change of pace" from the first couple. I'll admit I don't care about John's adventures in high school but they made that storyline interesting tonight and I enjoyed seeing the Terminator's quest to restore its flesh. The outcome of the Andy/Sarah relationship was a little predictable but ultimately satisfying.

I feel the acting from this show, at least the main cast, is solid. The script is pretty bad at times though and is full of bad cliches at times, though already it seems less severe in this episode vs the pilot. I'm hoping it rounds into form as the production from every other aspect is certainly top notch. And I gotta give it up to Lena Heady for pulling off a convincing Sarah Conner.

Did I hear right or is there no new episode next week?

Two weeks because George W. Bush apparently thinks he might have something smart to say on Monday.

Anyway, I'm a bit peeved off that the girl is now clueless. She wasn't clueless when she met John in the pilot. She acted like a normal teenage girl in highschool. Now all of a sudden she goes full Terminator and she forgets how to act like a teenager?

Then she pulls the, "I've fooled you once," card and she doens't even do anything to fool him or the students.

Lame.


But the story today was a nice change of pace. They need to cut it with the dumb one-liners, though. The newcomer trying to learn how to be hip in highschool is so cliche.

My girl was mad about the same thing where she was convincing the first time she was introduced but now she's totally ******** and unaware of how to blend in. She had feeling and everything when he first met her. I guess making her a "crutch" in his chain will make for an interesting twist. She's becoming very unpredictable with what she does lately. Very upset that we have to wait two weeks. Wish the prez would do his thing on Sunday or a Saturday when I'm sure not to miss anything. I think he'll be saying something on taxes probably.......

I also don't like the direction the writing is taking with her. Most of the time she just cuts off conversation and says, "He/She has to die."

Uh, what? It's so random. Though, the writing does recover when Sarah basically says, "I'll decide who dies." That saves the moment.

I was JUST about to post this. Apparently the writers completely brain farted or they simply said..."Aw the hell with it...we need more stuff to develop during the series."

Makes NO sense whatsoever how she is perfectly capable of blending in at first..then suddenly becomes an idiot overnight.

I really want to see what happens because I like the Terminator mythology but it's the little things that are pissing me off.

Her being dumb at highschool is just one of those little things. I'm usually very patient with shows that don't use their brains but more dumb choices like that and I'll tune off.

I thought this week's was another good episode. I'm kinda disappointed that the "bad" Terminator (I think his name is Cromartie) got his skin back. I gotta admit I was a little freaked out by him with his mask. Eagerly awaiting the next episode in two weeks (and hoping this writer's strike gets resolved so we can keep seeing new episodes).

Ok...

- In Terminator 3 the movie takes place during 1999

- During the scene when they go to Sarah's grave and get all the weapons, it says she dies in 1997.

-But in the TV show it was 1999 on the first episode and then they went to 2007.

Do I have the timelines right from the movie ???

If so how is Sarah still alive in the beginning of the tv show ?? Should she not be dead for 2 years already ???

According to the producers, the TV show takes place in an alternate timeline from T3 (basically they are acting as though T3 never took place-though they did take the Sarah dying from cancer storyline).

T2 took place in 1994 and I think the show was supposed to start in 1997. T3 takes place in 2004.
