I still say its a matter of the writers/producers realizing that they made a mistake in making her too "normal" way too soon. I agree with their decision to revert her back to a more stiff persona. The character can now evolve incrementally over the series, if it stays on for a few years.

I think you're probably right on this account. I guess until someone interviews the writers though we won't know for sure.

Just watched the show on the Fox website. Man was that one pretty good or what? The suspense was pretty solid. I can't wait until next week when it hits online. On a positive note, according to wikipedia, there was a nice boost in viewers this week.

18.36 million for the "Pilot"

10.07 million for the "Gnothi Seauton"

8.65 million for the "The Turk"

13.24 million for the "Heavy Metal"

That's pretty good. I wonder what aroused people to watch it this week. I wonder if they also count the amount of people that tune in to watch online.

That boost in viewers was probably thanks to all of the Super Bowl ads. Hopefully, the strong episode will keep them tuned in next week (and the appearance of Brian Austin Green!).

I don't watch much T.V.....practically zero...okay...zero (I watch 24, but that's it and I watch the box set when it comes out...not as it airs)...but for some reason I'm hooked on this show. It kind of reminds me of 24. I still don't watch it as it airs...I buy it off iTunes and watch it at my own pace.
You're right about the girl though...it's too much one way and then the other. A little less in each extreme would have made more sense IMO.

They have 9 episode of Terminator filmed. And hopefully from these good ratings, they'll continue more.

Okay...I just watched the last episode..."Heavy Metal"....and I've got one small little problem...

When they got to the hanger the mother and the girl Terminator were talking and the girl says that "this is where it happens"..."I was made here....right over there"...right?...so when they steal the shipment of the metal....which is to be used after Judgment Day to make the Terminators...how the heck is she made with no metal there? I'll give it a pass since you could just say that somehow they brought more there or from somewhere else...but they go through the trouble of saying she is made right there after Judgment Day so it's just a bit off....

It just seemed like they had the stuff there...the other Terminator goes into standby after closing the doors like that was going to be it until after J. Day.

Not a big deal....just that they put a whole episode towards this.
But I'll go with what you stated.

The first two episodes I found pretty bland. These last two have been much better though. They are starting to get settled in now.

So far though the FBI agents story is the most interesting.
