Blzer, nobody is going to change your mind on this bro. You want this so badly to be seperate trilogies that you have talked yourself into it being that and you believe that it is because you want to disown SAW IV so badly. You are doing what Mustafa Akkad did with the Halloween's that I mentioned above, they were so ashamed of 4-6 that when it came to H20 and Res, they don't even mention or acknowledge that those occured.

I don't get how someone can be that into this movie series.

Bad acting, overrated plot twists, and torture porn.

But I guess if you really look hard enough at one thing, you can find genius in it somewhere. I'm sure there's Norbit buffs out there, too.

That's why I'm pissed at Saw IV. The story was too much like **** we've seen before... even in the Saw franchise.

I guess we can say the same thing with something that you might really like while others may not like it. That is why we all have different tastes, etc.

I'm a horror nut, and when you compare some of the crap that has been released the last few years................SAW is brilliant. I can't even begin to count the number of crap released because I don't have enough fingers or toes.

            Re: Saw 4

            SPOILERS.......................................... ..............................

After watching SAW again tonight, I could be wrong here, but I think that Strahm is more involved than we really think, unless SAW IV not only takes place during SAW III and afterwards like we have established................but I think their might be pieces here that also fit into the SAW V and SAW VI that we will probably see later on.

Why in the hell, not once but twice Straham mentions Amanda Young? Once during the scene with Kerry's body hanging and another when he is talking to Agent Perez and even mentions that Eric Mathews was abducted by Amanda. How does he know that Amanda was behind Kerry's death and that Amanda had something to do with Eric Mathews gone missing, unless there are parts that fall between SAW II and SAW IV that we haven't seen yet which will be revealed in SAW V and VI.

I think I'm confusing this even more, but some things are starting to piece together a bit more with multiple viewings.

Only thing that I can come up with is that Eric Mathews son who was let free in SAW II................told the police everything about Amanda?

I got this off another site, which I didn't think of and is interesting:

"Don't forget when Jigsaw at the end of the 3rd film says, you just killed 4 lives after Amanda shoots the girl with the shotgun shell collar. Then Amanda dies (Jeff shoots her), jigsaw dies (Jeff saws his neck), the shotgun shell collar girl dies (collar goes off), but jeff doesn't die in the 3rd film. Jigsaw knew that the detective (I think detective) was coming shortly (which happens in saw IV) and that he would end up shooting Jeff (which is the 4th life to be killed). "

This is why I love this series/franchise, they make us think really hard no matter how many plotholes there are.

Also, when Cecil gets out of the KNIFE to the face trap.......he falls into the cage with barbed wire/razor wire............this is the origins of the trap from SAW that the heavy guy went through and was torn up.

Fair enough. I don't want to ruin the fun... I just despise this film series. Carry on.

No problem, nothing wrong with posting your comments or thoughts on why you don't like this.
