Kind of a weird question, but... I'm going to see this tonight with a buddy but I'm also trying to get my wife to go. She does not like action movies where it is a lot of guns and explosions, but she is somewhat considering this one because the Mac guy is in it. Is he in it a lot? Like as much as Samuel Jackson was in Die Hard 3? If he is, I can probably get her to go.

I would hope there would be guns in a Die Hard movie, that's why I'm going! I'm just trying to get my wife to tag along. Thanks KDRE, maybe that'll get her to go.

I'm actually kind of glad about the rating, I'm an Activity Director at a facility for the mentally disabled and we only get to go to PG 13 and lower movies. Since this falls into that I'll get to see it for free.

Good popcorn film.

Even though the film wasn't Rated R, there were still a ton of explosions and a high death count. The fight between Maggie Q and Bruce Willis was terrific. Justin Long and Willis had good chemistry. Kevin Smith was pretty funny as the hacker Warlock.

I wasn't thrilled with a part of the ending, but the film was enjoyable from start to finish.

Since this movie was a box office success, I wonder if there will be a 5th Die Hard.

No way this garbage should be considered a "Die Hard." This wasn't a Die Hard film, it was a Bruce Willis action flick.

The names John & Lucy McClane are the only things that lead tribute to the Die Hard series. Nothing else even remotely resembled a Die Hard film.

I'm also in the small minority of people, that are actual die hard(no pun intended) Die Hard fans.

Most everyone else just goes to the movies to see people get shot, and **** blown up. If they wanted to see that, then they went to the right movie.

Hell, I would have enjoyed the movie had they not conned me into believing I was seeing Die Hard 4.

I'm pretty skeptical of it despite what I've heard. I've heard its good, but I see no way it can be a true Die Hard movie with a PG-13 rating. I'm on your side, but can't give an opinion till I see it. Is it out on DVD yet?

Do you think they'll come out with an unrated DVD that has a few f-bombs thrown in there? I read a post earlier in this thread that was complaining not necessarily that the movie was PG-13, but it was obviously made to be rated R and then edited to become PG-13. I hope that makes sense, it made sense when I read it.

That said, do you think we'll get our rated R action movie with Die Hard slapped on the cover instead of PG-13?

What does being a sequal or not have to do with anything? It's still a Die Hard movie, which would make the next one the 5th movie in the Die Hard series.
