    Re: Ratatouille

My son LOVES Cars. Its his favorite movie. He liked Nemo, but when Cars came out it was all that mattered.

He also loves Curious George, because I think that he IS Curious George.

I'm looking forward to seeing how your kids, neices, nephews liked the movie. If we like it, it's just a bonus.

      Saw this today.

      Amazing.

      Might be Pixar's best.

        Re: Ratatouille

I was really disappointed with Cars, so I was waiting on some impressions before I see this. The last animated movie I saw and really liked was Over The Hedge.

On a side note, I really wish Disney would do some more hand-drawn animated movies.

There was a preview of a new Disney movie that appeared to be hand-drawn (I was excited for it) and then it turns out to be some stupid Cinderalla comes to the real world thing with live actors.

          Disney is not the same.

That being said, Dreamworks is working on a movie titled "Bee Movie" with Jerry Seinfeld playing the voice of the lead character. Looks interesting and funny.

Also a short, very short clip of Pixar's next film Wall-E to be released in Summer 2008. Andrew Stanton (Finding Nemo) is directing it.

Bee Movie does look good. I loved the live-action teaser.

Disney isn't making hand-drawn movies anymore.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

I thought I read somewhere that they are thinking about going back into that market.

                      Re: Ratatouille

Just got back from it earlier this afternoon...absolutely STUNNING! The movie was easily one of the top three that Pixar has ever done (w/ Incredibles and Nemo). Can't wait for the Blu-ray. It's amazing how they can continue to trum themselves with every outing.

                      So...who's excited about "Wall-E"?

Just finished watching the movie, and i must say A stunning movie. I mean the animations were top notch and the story and music beautiful.

Yet i walked away alittle digusted, i mean it was great; however the whole Rat cooking really seemed nasty. Especially at the end.............however this is probably the best movie i've seen all year yet

I am. I like robot movies and Pixar making one makes me more excited than watching Ana Kournikova play tennis naked.
