Director Matt Reeves has stated that if they do a sequel, it might take place during the same monster attack, but seen from another camera.

Ehh. Even for the "experience" I wasn't left saying wow. This feature was one of those where I just got sucked in by the hype.

At least a lot of people die, and no one's spared, so that was pretty realistic. The monster looked so different from the far shots, to the close up shot. The close up shot the monster looked pretty cheesy, though that's not a big deal to me.

I was always thinking they might do that. IMO, while I'd be very interested in seeing it, I think the novelty might wear off a bit for some people. The most important things for people to see in this movie, IMO, was:

1) The hand-held camera aspect.
2) What the monster looked like.
3) How it would progress.


I'm sure they would make sure the other people's experience is above and beyond what they saw, but I don't think it will gather as much hype or revenue from some people.

If I was going down in a helicopter while trying to somehow escape death, I probably wouldn't notice another helicopter getting attacked either.

That helicopter fell down before they got into their's. If she would've been in the one that crashed, they would've known about it.
