Re: Good news for DirecTV customers...
Same here. They want to upgrade existing customers.
If you are not an existing customer they may not waive the install fee's. I don't know. The 19.99 charge was supposedly shipping and handling on the DVR.Comment

So it would be enough if we call them and ask them what's the cheapest they can give me an HD-DVR and installation?Comment

Re: Good news for DirecTV customers...
yeah, but to get good deals, you need to talk to customer retention and if you don't like the answer, hang up and call back laterComment

Re: Good news for DirecTV customers...
i did the same thing 1 week ago and today had a customer rep. call me and apologize for another reps rude behavior to me. so he offered me free install, hd dvr,185 (40 hd) stations and 1 year of for $29.99 (then goes to $54 on the 13th month)...I am glad I got the Buell- I love riding it, I love the oddball looks I get on the road- I love people asking "What IS that thing?" I love flying into a corner WAY too hot, scared spitless and sure I'll never hold it at this speed- and hearing the bike whisper "Sissy!"...Comment

Re: Good news for DirecTV customers...
Some times feel bad for these reps. lol I had one and I was not so happy with some crap they were pulling, but it wasn't her fault, she was nice, but I can tell I was being a jerk! lol I don't know how people can do rep work, dealing with customers is a pain in the ***! I will stick with teaching jailed kids! lolComment
