    Graduation - Kanye West

Comes out August 21st, can't wait.

I personally am a huge fan of Kanye West, his music si so refreshing. A man can only take soo much 2 Step and A Bay Bay, which by the way are 2 indicators that rap is being murdered.

    I don't think it's the 21st

    I thinks it's September 11th

Wouldn't be surprised if this got pushed back at all.

I believe amazon has it wrong. Kanye CD comes out September 11 same day as Curtiiis. Hint the reason why Curtis is mouthing off so much lately.

I've never understood why people talk about Kanye as if he is so different from every other rapper out there. He talks about the same things as everyone else, he just has better beats than them. And he loves talking about how aware he is when he really talks about nothing, like having the Diamonds video set in sierra leone when it had nothing to do with what what he was talking about.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Agree somewhat, but songs like Jesus Walks aren't really done by other mainstream rappers. Best thing Kanye has done has been getting Common mainstream.

Jesus Walks was an alright song but he didn't even write all of it, and it shows. Every song he does for himself is basically him talking about how great he is. BUt yeah Kanye did help get Common more play.

Have you heard the song Family Business, Heard Em' Say. Basically what I'm saying is he doesn't rap about mainstream things such as killing a ****er, or being gangster, and as far as I know, him getting sooooo much *** (note: There are songs where he says he has gotten ***, but it doesn't sound like bragging) That, and he has mad good beats.

It doesn't sound like he's bragging? And yes, I've heard every song he has made and while he doesn't talk about killing, he talks about himself way too much to be this "hip hop savior" that people have made him out to be. And for as conceited as he is, the best beats of his have come from help(Jaydee on the "Be" album and that Brion guy on Late Registration). But with that being said, I still like some of his songs, I just don't buy into the hype like everyone else.

Kanye's alright, but he's not special or anything. His beats and hooks are nice, but his actual songwriting and rapping is just good.

95% of rappers are "braggadocious" to some degree, though.........

Some of Kanye's out-of-studio comments/actions do make his conceitedness stick out a little more, though...........

I'm hoping the song he made with John Mayer actually gets put on this album. It was supposed to be on Late Registration but got scratched at the last minute.

Agreed, dude's ego is enormous. And half of his stuff where he is talking about "real world stuff" just makes him sound ignorant.

                              "Bittersweet"?

                              It's already been leaked regardless.
