Yep. I figured most people knew this...

I have the clean version. It's pretty nice.....I think Ye kills "Barry Bonds". It's not as epic as Late Registration or College Dropout, but it's much more consistent.

Yeah, I have the clean version as well... Now just waiting for the real un-edited CD to leak.

I got the clean version this morning on my way to work so I could listen while here. I didn't really like LR, only about 5 or 6 songs, Graduation is already better to me.

I also have been listening to the clean version of graduation. I am disappointed to say I don't like it. There's only 13 tracks, of which 3-4 I genuinely like. The beats seem too simplistic and non-engaging, while Kanye seems to step up his lyricism. It's like one step backwards, one step forward.

50 is gonna drop much harder than this come 9/11

Is he still getting help from Jon Brion on this album? If not, maybe that's why the beats are simpler.

Jon Brion helped with one track, I believe. And, Brion is definitely not known for his simplicity with the music he produces.

I didn't say he was, I said that if Kanye didn't get help from him again then that's probably why his beats sound simpler.

It's cool. I'm gonna have to get find some stuff that Brion produced though cause he really helped Kanye make some great beats.

Brion produced Fiona Apple's Tidal & When The Pawn.... He also helped produced Apple's third album, Extraordinary Machine, but that version of the album was never released. I have both versions of Extraordinary Machine, though.

And, yeah, he produced both the Magnolia & Eternal Sunshine of Spotless Mind soundtracks as well.
