Tell me about it, man. That's why it's my favorite Ye track.. like the words in that song f'n hits me in the heart. I've never even BEEN to Chicago, but I felt like Kanye took me to Illinois on that track.. the original version that is. I have warmed up to "Homecoming", though.

Jesus Christ, I could listen to "Good Life", "Everything I Am" & "The Glory" all damn day.

I can't decide which is my favorite track. "Good Life" or "The Glory".
Same. I like this album a lot, save "Drunk and Hot Girls" and "Barry Bonds." Lil Wayne was just unbearable on the latter track and the former had terrible tempo and Mos Def didn't even rap. Can't complain about any of the other songs though.

Co-Sign. If he cut Lil Wayne's verse and Drunk and Hot Girls, this would be a near classic. Still a dope album, 4 mics from me.

I guess I'm the only one who likes Drunk And Hot Girls, lol. That song gets stuck in my head all the time, and getting Mos Def to sing on the track was straight genius.

Just because it has Mos Def on it, I'm assuming most people thought it'd be a song about the state of our youth in America or something like that.

I liken it to Ma$e's "Jealous Guys", or Biggie's "Playa Hata". Just a fun track with some cats singing off-key to a good beat about a ridiculous topic. I loved the aforementioned tracks, and I see DAHG in the same vein.

Now, don't get me wrong, I couldn't stand a whole CD of songs like that, but one track thrown in there is great. When it comes on, I never skip it.

its alright, im just wishin for someone in hip hop to drop a true 5 mic classic. its like its been in a drought for a minute. ye most def got better lyrically though. i just dont think the album flowed that well. i liked big brother, the glory, i wonder, champion, and a couple others. most def not as good as the first two he put out.

Yeah it's certainly surprising to me that people can like crap but hey, that's just me. I don't really care if you like it or not, I just wish I understood how anyone could like the songs.

Barry Bonds pretty much ruined the whole CD for me. WTF was Wayne doing? I'm usually a fan of his, but his verse was one of the worst I have ever heard. Aside from that the CD is alright. 'Cant tell me nothing' is good and I think DAHG is catchy for the most part. I like the production, nothing lyrically very good here but passable. I can at least listen to most of it, something I can't say about most of the mainstream rap today.

Lil' Wayne is freakin' horrible. He has the worst flow of any rapper I have ever heard in my life. He completely ruined that track.

The album as a whole is really good though.

I'm curious as to your justification as what makes this album so "terrible." I'm an avid listener to underground hip hop music and even I have gotta give Kanye his props on this album. The production value is pretty top notch (save a few blips with "Barry Bonds," "Can't Tell Me Nothing" and "Drunk and Hot Girls") but otherwise the producing is on par with anything the underground has to offer.

Kanye isn't really a bad rapper, either. Sure, he doesn't always spit incredible, on point lyrics, but he can hold his own, and works especially well over his own beats. "Champion" is a good example of this. Kanye's flow is incredible over the beat, proof that he's gotten better since his last album.

What album from 2007 would you say is on par with Graduation? I'll give you Silent Knight's "Hunger Strike" and Blue Scholars' "Bayani," as 1 and 2, but I really have yet to see any albums that beat out Graduation. Please don't respond with "any album, Kanye sucks." I'm curious as to your favorite artists, maybe it will give me some insight into your tastes.

                              Peace.

I love this album. I guess you gotta take Kanye for what he is... Which is making hits. He's never going to amaze you lyrically... But when it comes to beats and production he's one of the best.
