I love this show. It's absolutely hilarious. Most definitely gonna add it to the rotation.

Ya, definitely funny... I've been studying for school lately, so I'm really bad about remembering when something comes on... I must remember to set the DVR to catch it, and also that new drama "Cane" that comes out tomorrow... Seems like a mix between the Godfather and Scarface.

BTY had some ridiculously funny lines, like "This evening was brought to you by the letter, "O"....

I liked the ending too. It was touching.

          This week's episode looks hilarious.

              - The lead story is a Mike Tomlin press conference. The anchors recap what he said and show clips. They inform us how important this really is.

              - We then get sent out to the field reporter. This poor guy is standing alone at the Steelers South Side complex at 11 at night with no one else in sight. He again recaps the press conference, but with the fresh new angle of a dark parking lot!

              - The story is then sent to the Steelers round table for analysis. Here's we have the sports reporter, a writer for the Post-Gazette and the weather girl giving their opinions. They provide in-depth analysis of what Tomlin was "really" trying to say. The conversation dies, when they are unable to decide if Mike Tomlin's blistering 2-0 start put him on the fast track to Canton.

              -Commercial.

              - We return from the commercial back to the Steelers round table. The final topic is a Mike Tomlin cough at the beginning of the press conference. "A simple throat clear, or a symptom of a flu waiting to decimate the Steelers on Sunday?" Unfortunately for the human race our three panelists can't decide.

              - We then are returned to the anchors for actual local news. First story, the Squirrel Hill tunnels on the parkway east have collapsed backing up traffic into the next zip code. No one seems to notice.

              - We then go to video of the rain that fell today. With a whopping quarter of an inch the Mon Wharf has completely flooded. No one seems to care.

              - Then it's time for the weather. The weather girl recaps todays rain and shows the forecast for tomorrow. Then she provides a scouting report for the temperature for Sundays game. She gives the Steelers a two football advantage in game-time temperature, and a three and a half Steelers edge in wind. No one understands any of it.

              -Commercial

-Finally for the sports segment we re-recap the Tomlin conference. We have a few video clips of locker room interviews. All the players look confused when asked to rate Tomlin's press conference.

              - The sports reporter quickly notes that the Pirates lost today. Everyone has a good laugh as the show ends.
              Good post man!

I liked the pilot for sure. Definitely saw a lot of potential. Kelsey Grammar is a great actor and Heaton played her role well. Pilots are generally "vanilla" anyway, so I expect this one to pick up real nicely.

I liked the scenes with Grammer and Heaton, but did not care for the supporting cast at all or their lines. Except for Fred Willard.

Yeah, as I said earlier, they'll have to work on that.

Better than the first one. The Taser thing was funny, even though they could have left out the "spastic eating food" ending. The whole fish thing ("Finally..the bloodiest day in fish history comes to an end") was hilarious. Willard was basically wasted with the extremely lame magician /orange crap. Ryan is easily the most watchable of the supporting cast, including Fred Willard. The big boob chick is a waste.

I liked this episode more, I just hope they'll venture out of the workplace a little also.

I'm sure there'll be episodes out of the workplace but the focus is clearly on the workplace aspect. I saw last night's episode and found it very funny.

It's interesting how Kelsay Grammer's last big series was high brow to the extent that the last couple seasons was nearly unwatchable and this show is completely in the opposite direction. I do think some of the characters will get some meat onto them. I think Gary has the potential to be a very good character and could grow to be an important part of the cast by the series' end.

best joke for me: the pumpkin festival joke
