    Damages

Glenn Close as a high powered litigator and Ted Danson as a billionaire accused of selling his company up the river, evading criminal charges with a "not guilty" verdict, and now facing Close and company in a civil trial with millions at stake. A $100 million settlement offered by Danson was just turned down. Hard hitting in "Shield" style, definitely worth the watch.

    Re: Damages

Is it really? I dunno, if Ted Danson isn't standing behind a bar, then I don't know if I can take him seriously. And I'm not a big fan of Glenn Close.

If I watch it, it'll only be to count down the weeks until Nip/Tuck takes it's place.

Heat rockz. I'm LOVING this show so far. The latest episode was all right, but episode two that came after the Pilot? EXCELLENT.

The first show on F/X that I found absolutely terrible. Shame, they had a very good streak going.

I was afraid that would be the case. I'm not a big Shield fan, but I can "respect it's gangsta." I didn't particularly find Dirt that good, but that was just because of my disdain for Courtney Cox. I think I would have liked it, had somebody else played the main character.

This show just didn't look that appealing at all, on any level. I didn't even know Ted Danson was in it until I read this thread, and that does nothing but damage any potential it had of being watched by me.

          Bring back Nip/Tuck already!

I forgot about Dirt. Hm. At least there were hot chicks in that show, so I could flip to it, pause, and then go on. I flipped to F/X the other night, saw Damages was on, and quickly switched channels.

Watch it before you relegate it to substitute Nip/Tuck duty.

No, great episode. I wonder if Ted Danson will be back next season.

Anyone that says "The Shield is gangsta" what's the show is about It's about a corrupt cop that is so conflicted between good and evil that he'll do anything to survive. When a show creates a situation where the viewer is conflicted between rooting for this guy and wanting to see justice, that's a fantastic show. It's easily one of the best dramas ever created on TV. It's no soap opera crap like Law and Order.
