I don't really understand the hate for 50 right now. In 2003 and 2004, understandable, today not so much.

1. His pop/dance songs accomplish what they're set out to do; they have great production and a catchy hook.

2. He releases an album every 2 years, and does the chorus on say 2 songs a year. It's not like you constantly here him on a half assed remix every week

3. He doesn't have any internet stans anymore. Nobody is seriously proclaiming everything he does the greatest work of rap ever.

4. While I by no means endorse said actions, at least 50 Cent *allegidly* was a "gangsta". I don't enjoy hearing about said topic in every song, but at least with 50 Cent and Jeezy, it's tolerable as opposed to Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, TI, and the other guys talking about how they sell 3 kis a day by the gram.

you are right, especially the internet stans thing. expectations are lowered for 50 IMO, now most people are just haters. He is WAY better than all the "flavor of the month" artists we get every year. T Pain, Ross, Jeezy, Joc, MIMS, etc etc etc
