I saw it in a theater in London when it came out...

I was truly dumbstruck because NOTHING that looked or "felt" like that existed previous...at least that I was aware of...

I've avoided seeing it again, because well...like "Blood Simple" and "Reservoir Dogs" (to name two off the top of my head) ain't never gonna be "as good as the first time"...

Truly must see though...at least once...

It'll be interesting to see what you guys think of it, without the "Big Bang" factor of it's original uniqueness...

So many movies have stolen so much from it over the the last 30 years that people who see it for the first time now, perceive it somewhat as a By The Numbers Sci-Fi flick, when it in fact it is the progenitor of the core thematic concepts of the genre.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.
