Yea, 1964-1967 with 98 episodes. I guess my comparison might have been a little off, but I was just trying to get the point across that they will always have to be on the run or breaking out of a prison. But still I love the show.

Yea I agree, they will be on the run again next year.

Hopefully the series will end with the brothers being free. I'd hate for it to end with both brothers dead or back in prison.

I'm not against it ending that way, but I'd prefer it end with them free.

How people are starting to lose interest in this show is startling. This is one of the best shows I have ever seen, and definitely my favorite of all time.
I thought last year was not nearly as good as the first season, but this year is every bit as good if not better. I would not boycott Fox programming(although I probably will not watch 24's upcoming season anyway) if this show is axed-remember, it was only supposed to last 2 seasons.

          Which?

I know they've pulled shows in their first season. They've pulled shows like Arrested Development, which was consistenly being played around with by FOX. But outside of 24, they've never had a show like Prison Break on their network.

Prison Break is on it's third season and still pulling in above average ratings.

I don't even know why we're talking about this. There hasn't been any indication of Prison Break being cancelled. And that's probably because FOX has no inclination to do so.

Arrested Development came to mind at first. But here are some shows that they cancelled and I used to watch. I feel like I have been burned by shows on FOX one too many times and that is why this is a sore spot.

-Firefly (this show was doomed from the moment they started airing episodes out of order, and only 11 episodes were aired)
-Tru Calling (they taped 6 episodes for season 2 and then never showed the final episode)
-Reunion (they never showed the final 4 episodes of Season 1, we never found out who the murderer was)
-Point Pleasant (Final 3 episodes were never aired, so we had no clue what happened)
-Wonderfalls (Cancelled after 4 episodes, the rest was placed on the DVD)
-Family Guy (what a mess they made out of this one)

Another good episode. I agree with most that this sucks that we can't watch it until two more weeks. It is bad programming by Fox to skip a week here and there.

Interesting. I liked both the first and second seasons (season 1 a bit more), but I can't stand this season so far at all. The Sona prison stuff just bores me to death, and I hate how they made it appear to be hell on Earth in the season 2 finale but now is more like Club Med for prisoners, with them just wandering around all day. Why should anyone care about that Whistler guy or even the big black dude that controls the inmates? The writers have yet to give the viewers a single reason to do so. I am supposed to give a crap about that little twerp L.J. being held captive?

Season two had it's share of eye rolling moments, but at least it seemed to hit the ground running right away and was more or less non-stop action. I know there has to be a build up to things and that things have to play out, but I am finding myself incredibly bored by this show, something I never felt in either of the first two seasons. I sure hope it picks up soon.

Pretty sure they only aired 13 episodes of Reunion. But again, as I've said before with that show, they let the writers off the hook, the final 4 ep's were never filmed, nor were they even written.

What happens if the Sox sweep the Rockies in 4?

Does Prison Break air like usual on Monday? Or do the FOX exec's still push it back a week?

I hate to admit it but if there is a sweep and Prison Break would air like normal then Im all for Boston sweeping them, I have zero vested interest in Colorado or Boston so it wouldnt have any effect on me whatsoever.

I don't like the Sox, but if it gets Prison Break on the air sooner, I'm all for it.

If the Yankees were in the Series I might feel different.

None of those shows had the success of Prison Break with the exception of Family Guy. All of those shows were cut in the first season (which happens on every network) or for Tru Calling just didn't have the ratings.

Family Guy isn't like Prison Break, though. When it was cut from the network it wasn't as if millions of fans were left hanging on a cliffhanger. It's not a serialized-drama.

I agree that FOX is notorius for not giving shows a chance. It's unfortunate. I'm hoping it doesn't happen to Sarah Connor Chronicles if it's any good.
