Really lame episode last night. If the writers strike had prevented them from making any more episodes beyond the 8 this year, we would have been left with this for 8 months, that probably would have been the end of the show.
My guess is that Michael can't die now because he's already dead at some later time. Haven't quite grasped how this works, but I think where & when you die is it. If you die while back in time or don't link up to point X in the future you have a brain anorysm and die in present time, if you have died in the present while you were back in time, than you can't die while you are back in time. Its almost like you can be 2 places at once but only have consciousness at place at a time.
So who planted the plane crash? I say its Ben. Why would Whidmore have people on his freighter like the helicoptor pilot who thought there may be survivors if it was Whidmore who staged everything. I still can't grasp why/how Ben with all of his resources allows himself to be in the situations he gets himself into. AT any time a losse cannon Lostie could put a cap in his ***., unless like Michael, Ben can't die right now...... Doesn't make any sense.
