yeah i thought it right at the part when people were getting shot. my initial reaction was ok, they have aer all sexed up shes about to take on a bigger role and be more important on the show now since they never really made her good looking.

as far as april 24th how many episodes are scheduled? i beleive tonight was episode 8 of season 4 so beginning april 24th there should be roughly 14-16 more episodes until season 4 is over so itll prob run until august/september? just a guess but does anyone have any facts about that?

I believe they are only having 13 episodes this year. The original plan was 16, but because fo the strike they are condensing to 13. It could be 14 though. Not impressed with tonights episode. Not much to reveal except homeboy is gay, and Micheal told Walt he killed the 2 girls. The ending and the previews was the best.

I have been too busy to ask this question so it partly pertains to last week and this week. Does Charles Whitmore know that Desmond is on the island? Last week I thought Desmond would be more freaked out about hearing they were on his freighter. I dunno, maybe it's just me.

I liked the episode. Alex is hotter. Sucks to wait a month as I have no idea who shot Karl and Rousseu. Poor Rousseu, all that time on the island and that is how she goes out. LOL.

I have more questions, but I will wait for the discussion to heat up as I am not sure of some things.

My guess is that "The Others" shot Karl and Rousseau on orders from Ben. He wanted to keep Alex away from her real mother and to keep her from getting pregnant by Karl. I just wonder if they are really dead...
Remember the 1st episode from Season 3 when Kate was taking the shower when she first got to The Others' camp and Tom said "You're not my type." Guess we know what he meant by that.

Then? Oh man, you didn't see how hot she was looking when they were in the house staring at Ben chilling?

Me thinks the same. The two of them were having a private conversation that screamed "future together."

Definitely laughed when I saw Tom with the gay guy. I immediately thought of that comment to Kate. "You're not my type," and chuckled.

I do not think Charles Widmore knows.

Also, Desmond has usually been very calm with things. Think about his reactions to Charlie's deaths. He didn't go crazy about it. He just sat back and let it sink in before revealing the truth.

Only Penny makes him go haywire as you can tell he really cares about her.

I'd bet that he's just trying to evaluate everything before he goes crazy about it being Widmore's boat. Also, he seems to have had amnesia so he probably doesn't even realize that he went on that race or spent three+ years on the Island.

The amnesia's gone. That was just part of the "flashbacking" on the boat that nearly killed him.

5 more episodes after the 24th. The season will end in early June.

You are right about Des, thanks. Also was wondering if I spelled the last name wrong. :-)

My girl watched with me while we were eating dinner, so I didn't pay 100% attention. I want to rewatch the episode to gather clues, but what do you think Widmore really wants with the island? Kind of confused by that too although maybe I am over thinking.

Ben and Tom think that if they find the island, everyone will get killed off. Mankowski made it seem like they were going there to save the Losties when he mentioned something about "how great it would be if they went there and found survivors".

It seems like Ben is right as it looks like a war ensues between the groups. I guess I wonder how Widmore knows about the powers of the island. That must be what he is after. I know it has been mentioned that maybe he is part of Dharma or works with them so maybe that is how he knows. Although if everyone from Dharma was killed off by Ben how would anyone know? Hopefully they tie that together.

I have said this since season 1, and I stand by it to this day.....Vincent is the key to the entire mystery.

                              Few questions to answer:
-Why does Kate look like total garbage anytime she's on screen?

-Ben's daughter had lip injections right? Those things are seriously bloated....fantastic DSL's

-Claire is the finest piece of snatch on that island, why isn't she more involved in the storyline, especially instead of Kate.

-Juliette has some fantastic, grade A tittays on her. Wow.

Are you sure about that? Desmond hasn't shown any signs of being aware of his surroundings. Even after speaking to Penny on the phone he talks to Sayid as if he doesn't really know him.

All solid questions. Miles didn't deny that they planned to kill everyone once they had Ben. I think Minkowski just wasn't aware of their true intentions.

Widmore must know something is up if he's looking for the Island and wants to make sure no one else finds it.

I'm interested in knowing how he knows about Ben. The book "Bad Twin" confirmed connections with the Widmore Corporation and Paik Industries and the Hanso Foundation. We obviously know that the Hanso Foundation has connections to DHARMA as they were responsible for financing the DHARMA Initiative.

Another interesting note is that the balloon (belonging to Henry Gale) had the Widmore Labs logo on it.

I wonder if perhaps the flyer of that balloon was once looking for the Island for Widmore and ended up being killed by Ben and the Others.
