No, I just assumed that Sun literally meant Jin was killed, when she said her father and "one of them" were responsible for his death.

This makes me believe Jin is dead, and not still living on the island.

Edit: I don't mean he's dead now, in the present time (present meaning on the island), but he ends up dying before the Oceanic 6 get off the island. Some people were unsure of whether or not Jin (and the rest of flight 815) were dead or still on the island. Sun's speech to her father lead me to believe Jin actually dies on the island. We still don't know about the rest of flight 815.

Ok, I get you. I just thought you meant the C4 and it confused me because I didn't see it explode and there was no hint at the possibility of explosion. I mean, an explosion wouldn't just kill them. There was enough C4 in there to blow up the entire boat which would mean both Aaron and Sun would be dead as well.

Now if you're talking before they get off the Island then yea, I understand.

I still think Jin is alive. I think Sun's talk to him at the cementary confirmed that for me. Her words told me she was speaking to a living Jin and she was wishing he was there with her. Just like Jack telling Kate that Aaron wasn't her son and it really meaning, "If he's anyone's son, he's mine." Hinting that he knew at the time that Aaron was his nephew.

To me, her comment to her father was just living up to her story. In some ways, Jin is dead because she can't be with him. But she knows he's alive.

That being said, I'm going to piggy back on my prediction that Jack works alongside Sun to figure out Paik Industries involvement with DHARMA and it helps them find the Island. With Sun now having control over the company, I think this confirms that for me.

That being said, I'm going to piggy back on my prediction that Jack works alongside Sun to figure out Paik Industries involvement with DHARMA and it helps them find the Island. With Sun now having control over the company, I think this confirms that for me.

Very smart. I definitely could see that happening. Sun's motivation is to get Jin back. Not sure what Jack's motivation is at this point...

If Claire is still alive and we're assuming that there are people left on the island, Jack's obsession to go back to the island could very well be to find Claire.

That's my little theory anyway. This show just blows me away.

and lets not forget that Jacks father is in the picture as well. So not only is claire there but jacks dad is with her. 2 episodes ago he was having visions of him.

I think that in the "orchard" is when ben gets transported into the desert and I think that the dude who took controll of kate and sayeid (also the guy who spoke to a young Lock 2 weeks ago) is a" ring leader" of sorts for the oceanic 6. I think that he influences their story,etc.

I was thinking a long a similar line, that Jack "has to go back!" to find Claire because she MUST be the one to raise Aaron (sounds like the Terminator).

However, most of us think Claire is dead so that means that Aaron must be brought to the Island and raised there.



Peaking ahead to the S4 finale it looks like the freighter will be blown up and the helicopter will be used to take the Oceanic 6 home. However, during the press conference in last night's episode the showed photos of the O6 arriving on a beach in the dingy so unless that photo was staged it looks like that's how they get back to civilization.

Perhaps they people on the Island now (Jack, Sawyer, LaPedis) get back to the freighter with the chopper, then the freighter blows up destroying the chopper as well. The O6 take the dingy and head to sea in hopes of finding further rescue while the remainder of the cast are killed or swim back to the Island.

BTW, does anyone know why there's a week off?

Something that I'm confused on is that during the news broadcast a few weeks back Oceanic confirmed that all the passenger's bodies were found from the "staged" plane.

How will they explain that the dead passenger count will not add up if the Oceanic 6 are alive?

OK here's one thing I noticed.....

Back when the others were still at their main base where they had Jack, Kate, and Sawyer captive. That was on a separate island right? So it would appear that 1 island may have been static with a few stations it, but this "moveable" island has all the hocus pocus going on.

So when they had the news conference the lady showed a map and as showed 1 small island.

Sayid said everyone was definitely dead. Definitely dead in a way that he doesn't want anyone to know they are still alive.

I think Ben somehow moves the island and the other Losties are still on the island, but they are trapped. The Oceanic 6, specifically Jack is trying to get back to them.

There has to be more to it though or Hurley wouldn't be all freaked out. Jack may just be in a state of depression because thats the way he is, he promised he'd get everyone off the islland, but can't.

Well we know Jack has a downward spiral after his "break-up" with Kate... We don't know what happens in between though.

I'm pretty sure the Season Finale will show us a bit more on why Jack feels this need to go back.

It's also supposed to show us who is in the coffin at the wake. So if that's the case then we can assume the flash forward will be around the same time as the S3 Finale FF.
