    WHERE ARE THE TURTLES?!!!!!?!?!?!!?

I thought he was going to kick him into a bottomless pit after he said that.

That's exactly the scene I was thinking of too. WAY too over the top.

And I seriously believe this show is best at 30 minutes. The first two shows have felt 2 hours long.

But for crying out loud, will they give Creed more time?? This guy is comedy gold!

Creed's allright(you like him better than I do), but the star of the show is Michael, and I thought he was hilarious last night. He could use just a touch toning down though, but not too much.

I guess that's where we differ in opinion. Michael is definitely the star of the show which is why I didn't like the first two episodes. He's been way over-the-top so far.
I like him much more when he makes subtle, inappropriate comments rather than screaming for the return of a gift basket.

I almost died during that scene. Hilarious.

I agree with you. Michael can be hilarious, but I almost start squirming and not wanting to watch when he's massively over the top at times. Sometimes it's funny over the top, other times it misses and is just painful watching him bomb. I love the show, just notice that sometimes Michael doesn't hook me like other characters do.

I can handle Michael over the top much easier then this new Pam and Jim relationship...I really wish Pam went out to "dinner" with Ryan last night, that would have made for some tension at least which made their relationship so good in Seasons 1-3.

If Karen does come back I would bet she starts dating Ryan, that could get good.

Ryan is approaching Billy Zabka type levels of sleaziness and I LOVE it.

Yeah, the Pam/Jim thing is just too hokie, especially the part after Ryan asked out Pam and Jim's like "I guess he can't get any girl he wants." YAWN

I agree the Jim/Pam thing is so dull now. Problem is, I see no way they can spice it up or throw in a twist. Why would Jim ever leave Pam, or vice versa.

My favorite part of last night was when Kelly comes in all dressed up while everyone's putting up the welcome back Ryan sign on the wall.

The gift basket ending was a bit too much.

I agree completely. The show can't sustain 60 minutes. 30 minutes is the best and Michael was way too over the top in the first episode. The show is slowly falling off my "must see TV" list. I still like it but its a bit repetitive at times. Seriously, how many times can a boss take his group of employees on field trips, marathons and other stuff like that on company time? I love Michael but he has been overly annoying at times to start the year.

You bring up good points about doing all that nonsense on company time. Good thing about that is, the writers have seemed to realize this, and now I think are setting up some drama for Scranton.

Ryan warned Micheal last night that the antics of the Scranton branch might not fly with the company's new direction. Basically Ryan made Micheal aware that Ryan knows the goings on of the branch and to Ryan it was unacceptable.

Oh yeah, I'm definitely looking forward to this whole Michael/Jan vs. Ryan set-up they started last night. I wish they would find some interesting story with Pam and Jim though.

Could the set-up lead to Jan getting her job back and Ryan coming back to Scranton?

I couldn't agree more. I hate how transparent NBC is trying to recreate "Ross and Monica" using The Office. I'm sure before this season is over there'll be a huge breakup.

Things were fine without them dating.

Also, they need to continue incorporating the other employees into story lines. Almost every one of them is hilarious.

Now THAT would be a great plot.
