I just watced the season finale again. The shoe money scene is hilarious.

"every year my sweet sweet grandma sends me $50, but she had been sending me like 9 or 10 a year as nana starts to..." Classic. I think that scene was my favorite of the whole show.

For next year, these are my predictions.

I think Jim and Pam will start having some problems, maybe because she goes to NYC, but I doubt any couple can be THAT perfect. I think this (not proposing) was the start of some problems. Maybe Toby will have something to do with it?

Michael may either really fall in love with Holly or start hating her for some reason.

Angela will get back with Dwight.

I think one of the office members (Jim maybe?) will take Ryan's place.

The Kevin thing was awesome, made the episode for me. I was bummed that Andy stole Jim's engagement moment.

easily the best of the season, Michael was hilarious; I wonder whats gonna happen with Ryan, is he leaving the show?

Isn't he a writer/producer as well? Probably just wrote that in to help him concentrate on those roles.

Maybe they will offer a corporate role to Toby right before he departs, making him Michael's boss. That would be killer.

I was kinda disappointed in this season with the Ryan-Michael relationship. Besides the website launch, him and Michael really didn't have much interaction like I thought they would.

P_rushing, I actually think Michael really was being dense at the end of the show not picking up that vibe, plus I think he was actually taking Jim's advice about taking it slow. I don't think he had planned on calling Jan until he saw Kevin and her leave to the restaurant; so I think Jan is his fall-back plan.

I think it was mostly him taking Jim's advice and I don't think he considers Kevin a threat. I didn't realize that was McNulty's live in girlfriend on The Wire, but she is a welcome addition to the cast. I also had no idea that she received an Oscar nom for her role in Gone Baby Gone. Coincidentally I almost bought the DVD at Best Buy last night.
One of my favorite episodes ever. This had everything. The Kevin stuff ("I'm going to bang Holly"), The Ryan arrest, Andy-Angela-Dwight, the new HR girl, etc., etc. I wonder how long the have signed Amy Ryan?

On the finale, I thought it left a lot in question. Pam looked unsure since Jim didn't propose...she'll be going to school in New York, who knows what will happen...

Another funny thing from the episode was Michael giving Toby his watch...If you watch earlier in the episode there is a certificate on Michael's wall that reads-

"Certificate of Authenticity"
This certifies that
Michael Scott (Handwritten )
is the proud owner of a Quality Seiko timepiece

I dont know why but that just makes me laugh...

Also Michael's speech "If the devil were to explode and evil were gone forever what sort of party would you have...like a beach blowout or a...toga"

Thats classic as well.

Sorry to keep quoting but another one from that scene is Pam asking Michael "So how much anti-gravity potion do you want?"...hilarious

That would be great. I hope Toby is still around in some capacity. Michael's absolute hate for him is one of my favorite things about the show.

I agree. The Michael/Toby relationship is great. Toby taking Ryan's place would be hilarious. I like Toby. I think Toby represents many people in that he is a good guy trying to make the best of a lousy situation.
