    Southwest (Fascist) Airlines

23-year-old Kyla Ebbert almost thrown off a flight by the Southwest fashion police for her revealing attire.

After the plane filled, and the flight attendants began their safety spiel, Ebbert was asked to step off the plane by a customer service supervisor, identified by the airline only as “Keith.”

They walked out onto the jet bridge, where Keith told Ebbert her clothing was inappropriate and asked her to change. She explained she was flying to Tucson for only a few hours and had brought no luggage.

“I asked him what part of my outfit was offensive,” she said. “The shirt? The skirt? And he said, 'The whole thing.' ”

That's crazy. How come I never get someone like this sitting next to me on a flight?

This shouldn't be news and it's a shame that it is because that girl should have never gone through that.

I honestly searched around the page looking for a picture of the clothes she was wearing. Knowing that I had failed I started to read the captions and then the story only to discover that the image above IS what she was wearing on that flight.

That outfit is not revealing. I could probably understand a tad bit if the Rep said the skirt was too short but he said the "whole thing" was offensive. There is absolutely nothing offensive about her top with the exception of having two large breasts.

            that's offensive?!

I could understand about the skirt...maybe she wasn't wearing panties I dunno. Ok I bet she had the decency to but c'mon people! This is an airline that caters to warm climates fer cryin' out loud!

Do you expect your customers to go in a plane covered from head to toe when it's like 90 degrees outside? "sigh"

I'd be more offended by someone with stains all over their pants or shirt.

If her skirt was offensive, they could've easily asked her to cover up below her waist with a blanket while sitting down.

If they're going to do this...

They need to go around and tell everyone who smells to put on some perfume or cologne, or something because that is much more offensive than a short skirt.

Unless the short skirt was on a large chick. Then that is offensive.

It's hilarious that Southwest, the company that had flight attendents wearing short skirts, would kick someone off a plane for wearing one.

I see women wearing less than that every day. Think "Keith" was just jealous because this chick was hotter than he was? LOL.

Does anyone watch the show about them on A&E, I think it's called Airline or something to that effect. It is probably a miracle they don't get sued daily for the crap they allow their employees to do, and the decisions they let people, who i am assuming have at best a HS diploma to make. They oversell most flights, so to make room they'll bump you for anything they feel like. If they think you're drunk, expect to be booted. Hell, I even saw a guy offer to take a breathalyzer to prove his sobriety (and he looked really sober on camera) and they denied him the chance.

Their airline seats are something like 2" smaller than the industry norm, and they are horrible for making people they deem to be overweight buy multiple tickets for a flight.

Now this, if I had my bar license in California I'd offer to work pro bono for this woman and sue them for sexual discrimination. Citing some of the reasons Sully alluded to, there is much more offensive stuff than what she was wearing. Hell, I could walk through my law school library right now with my camera phone and within minutes could find a girl wearing something less prude than that.

Every airline does that, it's not limited to Southwest.
