Isn't this same idea true about the good things that cops do?

I'm going into the Police Academy in a few months and things like this are what make me afraid.

I'm just scared that once I graduate and am out on the job somewhere, I'll run into someone who wants to kill me because I'm a cop or someone they know or a family member of theirs was treated badly by a LEO, etc. I think it's a legit fear and something I'll have to cope with.

It's just sad that Law Enforcement has become a profession that is looked down on so much and one that a lot of people have distain for....idiots like this don't help the cause.

I didn't realize what all went into being a LEO until I started gearing up to go into it but damn, it's made me realize and appreciate what a job the good ones do and what they sacrifice. Again, just sad that the minority of bad and corrupt cops have to ruin it for everyone else.
