My thoughts exactly. My life contains enough reality and all I want is for a show to entertain me. 24 does just that, which is why I love watching it.

Are you as upset as I am with the amount of stuff they showed in the tralier, though? I KIND OF regret watching it, but considering that I had that sort of plot in my mind anyway, I guess it didn't spoil too much.

If that question was intended for me, then the answer is no. It may spoil some things but lets face it, we already knew that certain character was going to be in the next season anyways, and anyone who knows 24 would probably jump to the conclusion that what they showed in the trailer is indeed what they thought would happen anyways. Wow, that sounded rather confusing but attempting to not give anything away to those who arent going to watch the trailer while still discussing the trailer can be difficult at times.

This really blows. 24 is the only ****ing show I watch. What is the cause of this strike? Is this going to lead to even more reality tv?

I don't understand how the writers strike affects 24. At this point, 24 is one of the most poorly written shows where the plot is pretty much a spin the wheel of who will die randomly.

Let's be honest, what happens from 9:00-9:50 is completely irrelevant to the show. All that matters in a good 24 episode is that Jack shoots some bad guys, there's big explosions, and Jack says something witty. It's not all that hard to write.
