 Re: *** 24: Season 7 ***

The writers get 4 cents for every $20 on a DVD sale. 4 flippin cents. They want more obviously, that's one of the stumbling blocks.Comment

 Re: *** 24: Season 7 ***

Yeah I'm sure if you wrote a 24 episode it would come out better. Get over yourself.I don't understand how the writers strike affects 24. At this point, 24 is one of the most poorly written shows where the plot is pretty much a spin the wheel of who will die randomly.

Let's be honest, what happens from 9:00-9:50 is completely irrelevant to the show. All that matters in a good 24 episode is that Jack shoots some bad guys, there's big explosions, and Jack says something witty. It's not all that hard to write.

As for the strike, it's disappointing, but if anything it will just make me find more productive things to do during the time.Listen to some of my covers:

 Season 7 Cast Picture

By the time the show returns in Jan 09, it would have been off the air for over a year and a half.

I think this long break was needed for the show. Season 7 was suppose to start in Africa but they ditched that plan and had to quickly come up with new storylines just to get the show on the air for it's scheduled timeslot before the writers strike happened.Comment

The rumor going around is that Africa storyline is going to be used for the movie, which is supposed to take place between S6 and S7.Season 7 Cast Picture

EMMY AND GOLDEN GLOBE WINNER "24" GETS A JUMPSTART ON THE CLOCK WITH SPECIAL TWO-HOUR PREQUEL SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 23, ON FOX

 "Day 7" Season Premiere Clocks-In January 2009

Fans have been waiting almost a year for the return of 24, television's most addictive drama. On Sunday, November 23 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), the wait will be over as FOX presents a special two-hour prequel event.

Shot on location in South Africa, Jack Bauer battles an international crisis, while here at home the nation prepares for a new president on inauguration day. Taking place just a few months before the new day dawns, the prequel will set the stage and raise the stakes for Season Seven.

"We're excited about the prequel because it explores Jack's complex emotional state of mind and still has all the signature excitement and suspense that fans have come to expect from 24," commented executive producer Howard Gordon. "Shooting in South Africa affirms everyone's commitment to making this season especially memorable for our fans."Comment
