Season finale was great. Yeah, I was a little skeptical about him finding Lila like that but whatever. The postcard he sent to her there was a nice touch. One of my favorite shows on tv. Looking forward to next season already!

This was a terrific finale(A+) for what is arguably the best show on TV. I would of hated for the Pale Bitch to have survived this season. Although she served her purpose, she outlived me being able to tolerate her grating whining-I think Deb liked her better than I did. She was a fool to think Dex couldn't have found her, with his natural instincts, motivation and police resources. No cop out on Doakes death either, complete with gruesomely charred torso and head. Coming out of the fire in "Phoenix" style was clever too. Can't wait to see the new Dex in season 3!!

It will be interesting to see how they continue with this story. One thing that could come back into play is Lila had his tools and you don't see what happened to them. If she planted them somewhere and they are found, they would have Dexter's fingerprints on them.

Yeah...it would be a crazy twist if she mailed them off to Laguardia

kind of ironic how Dexter is the best "detective" on the force too

Seems like Dexter would have considered that a priority just before he gutted Pale Bitch-at the very least scare the tool's location out of her. I'm assuming that Dex found the tools.

Wow, because of the void left by the Writer's Stike an edited Dex will air on CBS starting Sunday Feb 17th at 10 PM EST. It will air as a simulcast with Canada's largest TV network, CTV. Too bad half of Debra's dialog will be altered. I wonder what replacement words they will use?

Assuming the show is given an hour block...

Unless they're going to run with limited commercials, around ten minutes will be cut from each episode. Too bad. Now, if you start talking to someone about Dexter being your favorite show, they may think you're talking about the neutered CBS version.

Maybe it's just me, but that's not a bad thing. I don't mind and commonly use profanity, but it Deb uses it way too often and it always seems really forced.

Good point-I wasn't even thinking about that, although the episodes run usually short of an hour (First five-53, 55, 51, 58, 56 minutes), but not by much. I'd recommend the 1st season DVD as a Dexter starter kit.

I don't know, the cursing is just Deb though, you take that away thats a big part of her character, just how she talks.

Either way, she sounds like a 13 year old punk who just realized that his parents won't really know whenever he curses, so he does it in every sentence.

Yeah I definitely agree with what your saying, I just think the show loses something by taking that part of her character away (although if the show had always been on CBS with no cursing I doubt I'd ever miss it but since I'm used to it it seems like a huge part of her character).

I agree, but then I think it does fit her character which is somewhat of a naive kid-like one.

The cleaned up A&E version of "The Sopranos" doesn't miss a beat, except the occasional "blood sucker" for "you know what" sounds a little strange.

LOL, I remember watching a Steven Seagal movie on regular tv and during this one scene he squints, raises his gun at the target and dramatically says before firing "Oh we'll get em...every flippin' one of em..."

I seriously about lost it, it changed the scene so much that it made it comical instead of dramatic. Some things just don't work on tv correctly.
