it made me think of The IT Crowd except set in an apartment building. I enjoyed it overall... gave me some laugh out louds but also had some stupid over-the-top stuff as well. I'll keep watching most likely.

I have this on my DVR (along with all of last night's shows). It sounds like most people enjoyed it. I'm still a little upset that The Class was canceled and am not sure this can live up to it IMO.

Yeah, I just don't know. It took The Class a little while to hit its stride and get you really caring about the characters. I'm just not convinced yet that we'll truly care as much about what goes on, and I hope that these characters become more dynamic (right now each one is just a generalization of a single joke).

I'd like the show a lot more if it wasn't a replacement for "The Class." Maybe I'll get over that if this one is funny enough. Nerd jokes are funny, but it's hard to sustain a show just on that.

I liked the theme by the Barenaked Ladies, but other than that I thought the show was only average. It has potential, but there weren't a ton of laugh-out-loud moments.

I liked it. Finally got to watch it. Looking forward to future episodes.

I wrote that I thought the pilot was only okay. Well, I nearly laughing during the much improved second episode when they argued about Superman. I'm still laughing.

I'm up in the air on this one. Sometimes they make me die laughing with the stupid geek humor (like you mentioned), but other times it's so formulaic and not really funny.

I agree completely. And not just formulaic, but stupid. Cleaning her apartment, leaving a note, and not being worried that she'll be pissed? Come on. That's believable (holds up sarcasm sign).

The second episode improved on the first, IMO, but if they don't get rid of the formulaic, idiotic plot devices, I may be forced to give up on this.

I loved the part last night where they were screwing with Sheldon making him think he might be a robot.

Every week I go into this show thinking it is just some dumb show that will never make it, but I end up laughing out loud a lot each week. It's a good show.

Honestly it's almost better without the painful " huge geek tries to relate to cute girl" humor...I laugh more at everything else (but obviously without the cute girl and that aspect they wouldn't get a more general audience). I'm still gonna watch, it's an ok show. I don't care about it like I did The Class, but I'll stop whining about losing that show lol.

Anyone still watching this? It's still not "The Class", but I find it to be a pretty humorous show.

                            Sheldon's character cracks me up.

I am and I'm enjoying it quite a bit. Sheldon is my favorite. When he was sitting on the couch fidgeting and not sure what to do, I was cracking up.

Yeah I've watched every episode, hilarious. CBS Mondays is great. I used to like Two and a Half Men but not so much anymore. The other 3 shows are must watches for me. (Rules of Engagement, How I Met Your Mother, and Big Bang Theory)
