Yeah it wasn't very good. The only sketch I found amusing at all was the Dick Cheney sketch.

Overall it felt canned and stupid.

I liked it, but can see where maybe a lot of people didn't.

Frank's a funny guy. TBS look's to have ruined that. The show came off canned and not very funny. Despite what they say, TBS doesn't know funny. The fact they air 2 hours of Tyler Perry's "House of Pain" and promote it to no end say's everything you need to know about that network. Pain describes the feeling I got trying to watch that show. Frank put himself behind the eight ball the second he signed with TBS. Then again, this is the same network that aired "Mama's Family" for years. So he could have a long run.

I snickered the Clinton Library sketch. That was about it. I'll give it one more chance.

Not his fault though. Looks more like the work of some TV executive "genius". This was a horrible format....just poorly scripted. He almost looked as if he was apologizing at points.

He's better than this. The worst though is TBS replaying the obnoxiously repeated promo again DURING the actual show.
No, it wasn't his fault, but I wouldn't give the show a death sentence based on this feeble effort. The format did suck, and the whole thing with the "host" pulled out of the audience was beyond lame. Didn't like any of the skits, and despite his undeniable talent I reminded of the Ross Perot, George Bush (the older one, Dana Carvey portrayed both) and Michael Dukakis presidential debate skit which was gold and much better written than anything with Cheney, Bush, and Clinton last night. The format was bad, but the writing was worse. D+

When they took that guy out of the audience, I thought it was Jimmy Kimmel. Then they did mention that later. I did not laugh once though. I hope it gets better.

It's funny how TBS promoted this show so much, but they are only able to air 3 episodes (2 more left) because of the writer's strike.

The writers' strike might do this show some good if they pay attention to the negative feedback.

Yeah I'll give it a chance, but that was a pretty bad show. He also seemed very awkward hosting the show.

The Seinfeld skit was ok, The Dick Cheney part was WAY to long and I didn't even crack a smile. Clinton library was the only halfway decent skit.

I was thinking the same thing. I don't know if you are joking or not, but I liked that show a lot.

                          Anybody watch the 2nd episode?

I watched in on DVR, and thats the last of the show I'll watch. Gave it a 2nd shot, but it is just not that funny.

I love Frank Caliendo, but his style doesn't work in this sketch comedy format. He is better doing stand-up and also appearances like he had on NBA on TNT (that clip is hilarious). He also seems really uncomfortable hosting the show.

I agree. I kind of liked the Sean Connery skit-a lot of that might have been the buxom babe.
