My brother, brother-in-law, and myself did it last year. I don't think I can this year, its getting cold here in Chicago and feels colder than last year....LOL! Nothing that I really want.

I would never camp out for Black Friday, no deal is worth it. I'm not wasting my Thanksgiving night doing that.

My plan for Black Friday. Go to bed around 8pm Thanksgiving night, wake up at 2am, play video games until 4:30am and then head out. No way am I standing in line the night before.

Last year, with the PS3 coming out, the lines started at 6pm here in Columbia, SC. 99% of the people interviewed on tv said they were gonna put the PS3 on ebay.

Me and my brother got there around 9pm and there was already 100 people in line. By at 2am, the parking lot was full.

I'm trying to decide between stores to hit around 2 AM. I'm assuming Best Buy would be the busiest of them all. Maybe CC or CompUSA would be the lesser crowded of the bunch?

We did CC the year before, wasn't nearly as bad as BB.

There was ZERO people at Walmart....same as Target.

Target does have the $200 LCD HDTV this year.

I think Target opens at 6am and Im guessing its first come first serve. Thats the only store I need to go to. So I will get there around 5am. Standing in a parking lot in November in Chicago can be brutal though.

I'm not sure I can think of any one event more symbolic about the priorities of this country than Black Friday.

I agree completely. That being said, I did camp out for the PS2.

I think you can purchase most of it online unless its a door buster sale and those are only available in store, first come first serve basis with no rain checks.
