Guess that takes us into the whole "where did life begin" theory again.

I won't open up the can of worms but think liberally and you'll see why some theologians now believe the big bang theory and such as proof of a Divine Creator.

I know we're finite so in a sense we're born narrow minded as someone delicately put it.

Therefore, how can the pot call the kettle black for believing A or Z?

          Good question.

But for the sake of keeping this thread alive lets try and stay away from the religious overtones this discovery might bring.

Whether you believe in God or not, I think everyone's interested to see proof of life outside our solar system.

Welp, no religiousness in my post but the question always leads back to the same.

            Where did life begin?

At least those look better than the face on mars that ended up just being giant pixels from low quality imaging. With a good telescope, wouldn't you be able to see whatever that is if you know where to look? Hard to tell scale from the shot, but looks pretty big, or at least the crater next to it in the 2nd shot looks big.

It would be pretty interesting if man already went to the moon billions of years ago from earth and mankind has been whiped out by natural disasters or extinction events time and time again throughout earths history.

I'm not even positive we landed on the moon let alone saw signs of aliens there. We can't even keep space shuttles from exploding let alone land on the moon with tin can technology back in the 1960's.

I won't go as far as saying man hasn't been in space or the moon, but I will say I think we don't really belong out there.

I've never heard of that but it would be really interesting. I don't know why they would cover it up though.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)
