If there is life in space it may be so advanced that we can't even precieve it. A alien life form may be sitting next to you, and you wouldn't even know it. They may have the technology to make themselves, and their ships invisible.

      Re: NASA Cover-up

I don't want to butt in with conspiracies and what-not, but considering my mom saw a UFO when she was a kid, I know for a fact that either alien life forms exist, or the government isn't quite telling us enough.

I'm only telling as much truth as she will tell me, and she'll swear on her life that she saw one and never back down from the statement. Basically, she was a kid in her parents' room one night getting something from their drawer, and she saw, out the window, a hovering aircraft (I forget what she said it looked like... I'll have to ask her again) that made no sound, was lit up, but gave off no light. She was so afraid that she fled, and was afraid to go back into their room at night for a very long time.

So yes, I believe they exist, and that they have been here before.

They sent the rovers up there for their own well being. Give the public a few pictures that are "safe" and don't show off anything. Any of the big discoveries they keep to themselves. Again, it's not about letting the public in on things it's about knowing for this government and what THEY can gain from it.

        This is VERY true.
More than likely there is some civilization out there that has Tech that's better than ours. It's like Sports... you might think that you're the best, but there's always someone out there that is better or will be better. If you know that something or someone is coming, cloak. If you're coming to spy and visit here, why do you need to cloak or hide when you have vastly superior technology and craft.

On the other side of it. Our government has a bunch of experimental craft as well. We don't know what they have or don't have.

Heck I saw a Stealth Fighter fly over my house in Massachusetts when I was 10yrs old. Before they had been announced to the general public. It was flying so damn low and making no noises. The only thing i saw was the light from the cockpit. It was scary, but amazing all at the same time.

I have seen another "experimental " craft a couple years ago when I was near Pope Air Force Base in NC. It was triangular in shape. It was moving up and down vertically much like a "saucer" would. Going above and below the tree line. It was extremely interesting. I watched it for at least 30mins. I never saw any fighter planes take off, just the usual C70s that's why I assumed it was Military.

Where as in other things that people have seen like in Arizona, you had F-16s take off and try and chase it down.

We'll never really know what's going on.

It could be Alien life. It could be other governments spying on us. It could be our own experimental craft. The public will never know because the Governments of various nations don't want us to know. Why? If you have to many people in the know it's kind of hard to deny what you do or don't know. What you do and you don't have.

It doesn't make much sense to me at all that NASA would want to make Mars look "boring" to the public. NASA is already facing scrutiny by people who feel space exploration is unimportant, and there are people who want to cut NASA's budget severely.

Why lie and make their own research look insignificant, when if they told the truth they would gain public interest and could get all the funding to do everything they have ever dreamed of?

It is hard to dispute that evidence. I say there is a chance that NASA did alter the color of the photos.

Again, it's one or the other. She didn't hallucinate and she definitely isn't making up this story. She'll defend it with her life and give vivid descriptions about it, only I don't remember them. I don't like to bring it up in front of her because she'll either wonder why I want to know [again], or she thinks I'm trying to show my friends how much of a "freak" she is about it, and that we don't believe her.

Just ask her to tell you the details. Tell her you are interested in it, and hearing the details of what she saw fascinates you.

Or are you just embarrassed to ask her about it? It's not like you're asking her to buy you a box of condoms, or something.

When things penetrate atmospheres, fly through space debris, and land on a planet, stuff tends to get altered in color.

Yeah, considering it was like 1970...

Don't shoot the messenger. I just love how some on here are saying that others are naive about stuff like this, and I'm giving a story as true as a zebra that has stripes that can't be believed, or even thought of being believable. It could just be something that the government isn't telling us, or it could be alien.

It did happen, that's all I know. If you knew my mom, you would know this is something that she wouldn't lie about. I mean, she doesn't lie. She's one of those mothers that... well... that wouldn't let me cross the street by myself until I was a teenager. She's just that kind of person.

Anyway, when I see her again (which will be Thanksgiving break), hopefully I can find a way to ask her in a way that it seems relevant to a conversation topic immediately prior, because you guys are right... I just feel awkward about asking it. I can feel it on her side, too; like, I always feel that awkwardness when people ask me about my peanut allergy (and totally random "What if" questions).

But it's almost an insult to call my mom a liar. Not saying that I'm insulted, but she's just that kind of person that you would never call one. By that alone, she wouldn't make up what she saw. Okay, so maybe it was a hallucination... that doesn't change the fact that she saw it.

No way it is dust, the cords zoomed in went from yellow to burnt orange right?

Well what about the fasteners above those cords on the smaller cords?

They went from blue to pink!?

There was another site with pictures that showed the NASA logo in the official pictures as red instead of blue. I'll try to find it.
